At first, Lu Qingyan was quite startled. But she quickly became immersed in the atmosphere and enjoyed the feeling of being pampered.

Mrs. Lu waved her hand dismissively, saying, "What nonsense are you spouting? How could I possibly let you be my daughter-in-law? My son hates crybabies like you who cry at the drop of a hat. Did we marry you just to see you cry? Even if I liked you, I wouldn't like—" Mrs. Lu's eyes suddenly fell on Lu Qingyan, and she pulled her in front of her, saying, "I like girls like that too. This girl is much more interesting than you."
As Lu's mother spoke, she silently muttered to herself, "I don't know why, but I always feel that this girl looks a bit like my son."
“Auntie,” Jinle swayed, devastated. She raised her chin and said righteously, “Auntie, how could you go back on your word like this? You clearly promised to take me home to be your daughter-in-law. I even quit my job to come here for you, and now you’re going back on your word? How could you do this to me?”
Mrs. Lu said disdainfully, "What does your job have to do with being my daughter-in-law? Are you trying to blame me for this? Who said that women who become someone else's daughters-in-law don't have to work? Your quitting your job shows that you don't like it or value it. What does that have to do with me?"
Lu's mother's words left Jinle speechless. Was she supposed to say that her goal was to become a member here, have endless money to spend every day, and not have to do anything?

Jinle was someone who valued her reputation and didn't want people to know her true feelings.
