Chapter 76 Monk, Shall We Catch Demons? (April 23)

Is this...is this still Fahai? His originally bald head is now...growing with fuzzy hair! Although it's short, it's definitely hair!

Just as stunned as Lu Qingyan were the system and Wu Yuan, who had come to find Fahai once again.

"Grandmaster Uncle, what happened to you?" Wu Yuan exclaimed, pointing at Fahai's head.

It's no wonder Wu Yuan was making such a fuss; the scene before him was just too shocking.

Because the temple has someone to shave heads every month, but the grandmaster is no ordinary person. His hair hadn't grown for almost a hundred years, but this time it grew back in just four or five days.

Fahai waved his hand: "It's nothing. I just locked myself in my room because there are some things I can't figure out. I'll come out when I've thought them through."

Wu Yuan was somewhat skeptical of Fahai's explanation. What kind of question could make hair grow out of one's head? His grand-uncle was definitely lying to him.

Wu Yuan kept staring at Fahai, trying to glean something from his face. But compared to Fahai, who had lived for five hundred years, he was far inferior; how could he possibly find the answer he sought from Fahai's expression?

Seeing that Wuyuan was still staring at his face, or more accurately, his hair, Fahai couldn't help but reach out and touch it—his hair had actually grown!

He paused for a moment, then quickly came to terms with it. Now that he had made up his mind, there was nothing to hesitate about, and he didn't need to shave his head anymore.

"Wuyuan, where is your master?"

"At this time, Master is still meditating."

Fahai nodded: "There are some things I need to clarify with him."

Watching Fahai's departing figure, Wuyuan asked, "Great Python, do you know what Grandmaster Uncle is thinking?"

Lu Qingyan didn't answer. She merely glanced at Wu Yuan and left with an air of haughtiness. If she wanted to, she could easily find the answer. But right now… sigh, Lu Qingyan sighed. It wasn't even winter yet, and she was already worrying about how to hibernate. There weren't any caves like those on Mount Emei near Jinshan Temple.

Seeing that Lu Qingyan ignored him, Wu Yuan muttered to himself, "If she won't tell me, then she won't tell me. I'll just go and see for myself."

Unfortunately, Wuyuan arrived too late and only overheard a few words from outside the house.

“I have always followed my heart in my Buddhist practice. Now that I have this thought, I must explain it to you.” This voice belonged to his grandmaster, Fahai.

Curious, he poked a hole in the window and looked inside. He saw his master, the abbot of Jinshan Temple, turn his head and asked again, "Grandmaster Uncle, are you really sure about this?"

What have you decided? Wu Yuan felt as if his heart was being scratched by a cat, unbearably itchy.

He was about to get any closer when the window panel suddenly collapsed, and before he could react, he fell face-first onto the ground, his mouth full of dirt.

"Wuyuan!" the abbot shouted angrily. Wuyuan immediately got up and stood obediently to the side: "Greetings, Master. Greetings, Grandmaster Uncle."

Fahai wasn't angry. Although Wuyuan, the disciple of this abbot, was a bit mischievous, he had extremely high comprehension. With proper guidance, his future achievements in Buddhism would be immeasurable.

The abbot smiled apologetically at Fahai: "I'm sorry to have made you laugh, Grandmaster Uncle."

Fahai shook his head: "Being able to become a disciple of my Buddha is all due to fate. Abbot, there is no need for such harsh words. Just teach well. I need to go into seclusion for a while longer. I will trouble Wuyuan to take care of Susu."

"Ah, you want me to take care of a snake?" Wu Yuan blurted out as soon as he heard Fahai's words, then hurriedly covered his mouth after realizing what he had said.
