Chapter 919 Apocalyptic Heroine's Guide to Leveling Up 24 23

Pan Qingbai longed to tell Lu Qingyan his feelings, but he didn't want it to be at this time. Because right now, besides Lu Qingyan, he was also worried about the safety of the millions of people who had been displaced and forced to leave their homes because of this catastrophe.

Right now, he doesn't dare to be distracted by romantic notions.

Everything here looks pretty good. Although there were quite a few zombies before, most of the usable buildings are still intact. There are also plenty of materials piled up for the unfinished ones, enough to complete them completely.

Lu Qingyan believed that there must be plenty of people at the capital base who could do this job.

However, the defense here is not very good, and a high wall needs to be built to reinforce it.

The only way to complete the defense in the shortest amount of time is through superpowers.

The girl who seemed timid had an earth-based ability; she could use the earth to create natural barriers, and Lu Qingyan could also use her vines to build a plant wall.

This operation consumed a great deal of supernatural power, but fortunately, Lu Qingyan was a cultivator, and she only needed to drink a few more sips of spiritual spring water to replenish her lost spiritual energy. The little girl, on the other hand, only managed to build half a wall before fainting due to exhaustion of her supernatural power.

After Lu Qingyan finished her part, she went to find Pan Qingbai, only to find the gray-clad man and the alluring woman acting suspiciously, doing something she couldn't quite place.

Lu Qingyan quietly followed them and discovered they went into a small supermarket. This supermarket couldn't compare to a large supermarket in terms of variety and quantity. There weren't many daily necessities, but there was a good selection of food. Lu Qingyan witnessed the woman wave her hand, and many items on the shelves disappeared.

Lu Qingyan narrowed her eyes, genuinely surprised that this woman also possessed spatial abilities.

“Honey, if we pack any more stuff, I won’t have room left,” the woman complained coquettishly. “The two of us have already filled an entire supermarket; the stuff here is enough for us to use for years to come.”

"Who said I'm going to use all of these myself?" the gray-clad man said discontentedly. "I can exchange them for a lot of other things."

"These things are life-saving, what are you going to exchange them for?" The alluring woman persisted, glaring at the man defiantly.

She wouldn't be that stupid; she should keep all these things, since they're not going to be of any use now.

The man didn't answer her question, but said, "Call them over. They should be able to take all of these things. We can divide them up when we get back."

The woman nodded in agreement: "That's right, we're much better off than them, risking our lives out there, so it's only right that we get more. Those people inside can't help at all, keeping them around is just a waste of food, I really don't know what they're doing alive?"

The words she uttered were extremely vicious, and Lu Qingyan couldn't help but clench her fists upon hearing them.

"What, what else do you want to do?" Lu Qingyan couldn't help but step forward, looking the two seemingly respectable faces up and down.

"Oh, isn't this little sister? What are you doing here all alone?" The alluring woman wasn't surprised to see Lu Qingyan there at all; instead, she teased her and took a few steps closer.

Lu Qingyan asked with a dark face, "Is this how you always hoard supplies?"

No one knows how long they've been around, how many missions they've carried out, or how much they've stolen.
