No one in the house wanted to hit her; even the maids who helped her bathe didn't scold her.
She felt a warmth she had never experienced before in this home, and she felt it even after only being there for a short while. She was truly happy.
Rong Xu frowned as his gaze fell on Lu Qingyan's clothes: "The clothes she's wearing..."
Compared to what he was wearing, it was so much worse. Now that he had this little guy, he should get him the best. The newly appointed dad, Rong Xu, was filled with enthusiasm, determined to give Lu Qingyan the very best.

“Tomorrow is a day off, I’ll take you to register your household,” Rong Xu said. “You just said that you weren’t registered when you were in your family.”
Lu Qingyan nodded obediently: "Thank you, brother."
Hearing "Thank you, brother" several times in one day, Rong Xu, who was originally full of expectations, now felt a little amused and exasperated.
However, he still corrected Lu Qingyan: "You are only ten years old now, and I am already twenty-four. Remember to call me uncle from now on."
