Although Louise is a thrill-seeker, she is still somewhat afraid when faced with a real murder case.
“I don’t know anything. I just wanted to play a trick on Lu. I never expected something like that to happen. I swear to God, I have nothing to do with such a heinous thing. Let me go. I want to get out.”
Lu Qingyan stood outside listening to the roaring sounds inside, her face showing no emotion whatsoever.
“Louise, please cooperate with our investigation. If you continue to make a scene, we don’t mind using medication to calm you down.”
Louise finally gave in.
Seeing that Louise had quieted down, Jesse then asked, "Are you and Smith very familiar with each other?"
"Not familiar with it."
"Why pick Smith of all people? There are other teachers at the school."
“I’ve only heard that Mr. Smith has some quirks, and I think that might scare Lu.”
"Who told you that?"
“I don’t know. They walked right past me, and I don’t remember what they looked like. All I remember is that they said Mr. Smith liked to collect things like skeletons and put them in his office for pranks.” Louise shook her head in frustration, completely clueless.
Jesse asked a few more questions inside, then came out, and Louise was also released.
Jesse looked at Lu Qingyan and said, "I'm sorry, my little angel from Xia Kingdom, I was so busy that I almost forgot about you. You can leave now. If you need anything or find any clues, you can contact me."
Lu Qingyan looked at Rong Qing: "Mr. Rong?"
“Jesse, let her stay with me for now. No one can guarantee that the mastermind won’t target Miss Lu. I can protect her by staying by her side.”
Jesse said in disbelief, “My God, I can’t believe that one day you would tell me that you have to stay by someone’s side and protect her. You must hate this kind of trouble. There have been many times when I asked for your help, but you have refused me without exception.”
“I believe I still have the right to choose whom to protect,” Rong Qing shrugged.
“Okay,” Jesse said. “In my opinion, you’ve always been a capricious person, just like how you prefer your Chinese name to your English name. Of course, protecting someone in the know is something you have to do with whether you want to or not. If I were to force someone on you, I really can’t imagine what terrible things would happen.”
"Shall we go eat?" Rong Qing asked after leaving the police station.
She hadn't felt it before, but after Rong Qing mentioned it, Lu Qingyan realized she was actually a little hungry.
"Okay, where to?"
Rong Qing didn't say anything, but went to the parking area and opened the door of a car: "Get in, I'll take you there."
Lu Qingyan: "..."
“Mr. Rong, this is a police car,” Lu Qingyan gently reminded him, hoping he would understand her thoughts.
Rong Qing replied, "It's alright, it's allowed here, as long as you don't use it to commit a crime."

Lu Qingyan reluctantly got into the car, still feeling a vague sense of fear, as if sitting in it made her a suspect.
The car drove around two streets and then turned a corner, stopping in front of an elegantly decorated shop.
Rong Qing said, "This restaurant has good food. I come here often. This time, I'll treat you to steak."
