"Don't be afraid." The emperor said, "I'm not a bad person."
"Don't scream, and I'll let you go, okay?" The emperor tried to make his voice gentle. He didn't dare to scare her again.
Xu Lingyi nodded weakly with tears in her eyes. She didn't know that the more she looked like this, the more charming and captivating the emperor would want her to protect him.
