The whole family waited and waited, but the eldest daughter didn't come back even after dark.
Nobody was in a good mood.
They were either waiting to deal with Yu Shuang, or waiting to see Yu Shuang get dealt with. Neither option worked, and they felt uneasy.

He glared at Yu Shuang as if he wanted to devour her.
"I didn't do anything or say anything, and you hit me as soon as you got back. Isn't that going too far?!"
Then, without warning, he was slapped on the other side of his face, and he no longer dared to glare at people with those murderous eyes.
He kept his head down like a quail.
