Shen Shuyi stepped forward and stroked the little girl's head, "Lan'er, have mother and the others returned home?"
The little girl in front of him was the original owner's sister, Shen Shulan, who was ten years old this year. She also had a twelve-year-old brother, Shen Shushan. Both of their parents were farmers. If they were not at home, they were busy with farm work in the fields.
The Shen family was quite poor and could not afford to send their children to school, but they still gritted their teeth and paid a teacher to give their three children nice and cultural names.
"Yes, yes, they just came back."
"Mom and Dad, my eldest sister is home!" the little girl shouted loudly towards the kitchen.

Shen Shuyi returned to her room and put down her package. Her small bed was clean, and she must have cleaned it regularly.

She took the corn porridge and ate it, "Now that I'm full, I have something to tell you."
Shen's father and mother ate with trepidation. It was a rare occasion for their daughter to come back, and if it wasn't too late, they should have killed a chicken to nourish her body.

She had to take care of the whole family in the Chen family and had no way to get away and go back to her parents' home.
In the past, Shen's mother would bring pickled meat and vegetables to support her during the slack season. Now that she suddenly returned home during this period of time, how could her parents not worry?
Shen Shuyi put down his bowl and chopsticks and waited for them to finish their porridge before speaking.
"Mom and Dad, Chen Mengzheng and I are divorced."
