Ning Shitang felt that he had gotten himself into a hot potato.
For him, being in the same room with Shen Shuyi was more difficult than going to war.
It was a great test of his self-control.
This was the first time he held a woman's clothes in his hands, and he was surprised to see the bright white.
She has a slender figure, how could that place be so...
Ning Shitang realized what he was thinking and his face turned red.
My heart was in turmoil, as if the calm surface of a pool of water had been disturbed by the autumn rain.
Ning Shitang stood in front of the table, poured a large glass of water, and drank the whole glass with his Adam's apple rolling.
He took a deep breath, his chest rising and falling.
Shen Shuyi put on her clothes and walked out. Her hair was half dry and she was wiping it with a towel.
A pair of bright eyes looked at him with a smile.
"Brother Shitang, do you want to take a bath too?"
"Yeah." Ning Shitang picked up his change of clothes and left.
Shen Shuyi heard the sound of water coming from the bathroom. When the sound stopped, she tiptoed over.
He raised his hand and pushed the door open.
What caught my eye was Ning Shitang, with his back to the door, barefoot on the floor, wiping his hair...
Drops of water slid down his muscular shoulders and back, finally falling onto his narrow waist which was free of any excess fat.
Chen Shuyi expected to see such a sexy scene, but she didn't expect Ning Shitang's figure to be so perfect overall.
Ning Shitang turned around when he heard the sound and immediately saw someone who was peeping running away.
He spoke helplessly, with some gnashing of teeth.
"Chen Shuyi, you! Can you be more reserved!"
Shen Shuyi's voice came through the closed door, "Humph, you were the first to see me naked, and I only saw your back."
“That’s not fair at all!”
"When you come out later, I'll settle the score with you!"
Ning Shitang shook his head and smiled bitterly. It was really impossible to reason with her.
He dressed and went out, a small smile on his lips that he didn't even notice as he walked.
Shen Shuyi saw the man coming out, dressed so neatly.
She raised her eyebrows and walked over. Just as her little hand was about to touch the front of his shirt and touch his chest.
Ning Shitang suddenly stretched out a hand, grabbed her wrist, and pulled her against the wall.
She screamed, leaning against the wall, unable to shake off the man's hand, "Brother Shitang, my hand is hurting from your grip."
"Let me go!"
"I'll let you go only if you promise not to touch me." Ning Shitang gently pressed her against the wall, and she couldn't struggle.
His voice was low and magnetic, falling into Shen Shuyi's ears.
She shook her head and struggled, moving her body around and bumping into Ning Shitang, "But you just accused me of being unreserved!"
"You are even more hateful."
"I didn't mean it." In order to stop her from moving, Ning Shitang grabbed her hands and lifted them above her head and pinned them to the wall.
The two faced each other, very close.
Shen Shuyi heard his breathing and the strong masculine scent coming towards her. Her face slowly turned red and she stopped struggling.
"I, I don't care whether you did it on purpose or not, anyway, I have to watch it back."
Ning Shitang was helpless, "There's nothing to see."
Chen Shuyi snorted, "Aren't we husband and wife? We must have met in our bridal chamber... Tell me, do you not like me anymore? That's why you resist my closeness so much."
"You didn't even kiss me!"
"Shuyi, be obedient and stop talking." Ning Shitang could only coax her. It was impossible for him to be like a real couple with her... What if she regained her memory and regretted it?
His eyes fell on the girl's beautiful face, and his Adam's apple rolled up and down.
Shen Shuyi stood on tiptoe and kissed his Adam's apple.
Ning Shitang's pupils constricted, and he suddenly loosened his hands. Even his breathing became heavy.
Shen Shuyi heard his breathing, and her ears and cheeks were hot, but she chose to seize the opportunity to put her arms around the man's neck and kissed his lips.
The man did not return the kiss, but stretched out an arm to hug the girl around the waist.
Then the girl's feet were empty and he picked her up and put her on the bed and tucked her in with the quilt.
The man stood beside the bed and said in a hoarse voice, "Go to sleep. I have something else to do, so I'll rest in the study tonight."
Just as he turned to leave, a pair of snow-white legs stretched out from under the quilt and hooked around Ning Shitang's thigh.
"Don't go."
"I can't sleep without you here."
Ning Shitang lowered his head and saw snow-white feet wrapped around his legs. The girl's hair was loose and her eyes were charming.
He tried to control himself, stay calm, and block out her soft and coquettish voice.
Ning Shitang was unable to move for a moment, and was torn between his conscience and his conscience.
If you stay, the consequences are self-evident.
"Ning Shitang, are you still leaving?"
"Speak." Shen Shuyi urged him.
Ning Shitang pursed his lips and said in a deep voice, "You go to sleep first."
"I'm going to the study to take care of things."
Just this once. If she teases him again next time, he won't be so "gentlemanly"!
"Stop!" Shen Shuyi sat up suddenly. She stared at Ning Shitang closely, with a hidden pain in her eyes.
"Ning Shitang, are you really leaving?"
Maybe it was because it was night, even with the lights on in the room it still felt hazy.
But Ning Shitang clearly saw the sadness in her eyes.
Before he could answer, the woman on the bed spoke again.
"Oh, you'd better go. You just think I'm a difficult and unreserved woman."
"Is that right?" The tears she had been holding back flowed out.
