Shen Shuyi received the message from System 66 the moment Li Donghai and the others appeared, indicating that some people couldn't hold back any longer.
Suddenly, urgent shouts rang out from the crowd.
"Help!"
"A little girl has been swept away by the waves!"
"Oh no, what should we do? How did the waves suddenly come up? The waves are too big, don't go! Going there is suicide! They've already swept us far away!"
"Little sister!"
"My mother and little sister have been swept away!!"
Yan Zheng ran wildly towards the direction where the little girl had fallen into the water, and Shen Shuyi ran after him, shouting, "Brother Yan, be careful!"
"Shuyi, wait for me to come back." Yan Zheng said this before plunging into the waves.
Shen Shuyi stood on the beach, watching the waves sweep him away. Her heart pounded, and her breathing became rapid.
As soon as Yan Zheng plunged into the sea, a wave nearly three meters high crashed into his chest, making him feel suffocated. Salty seawater filled his nostrils, and he coughed violently twice, but he stared intently at the small figure bobbing on the crest of the wave in the distance.
He adjusted his breathing, bent down and cleaved through the waves like an arrow. The near-shore waves, carrying sand and gravel, pounded against his knees, causing them to ache. Even worse, the undercurrents pulled at his feet, dragging him toward the deep sea several times.
Yan Zheng seized the opportunity, grabbed the little girl by the collar, and dragged her back.
Just as they were about to swim back, an even more ferocious backwash suddenly struck, sweeping the two of them back into the deep sea.
As if hearing Shen Shuyi's call, Yan Zheng suddenly burst out with strength, using the force of a wave to carry the unconscious person back to the beach.
As he laid the person flat on the ground, he collapsed beside them, his chest heaving violently.
Shen Shuyi ran to Yan Zheng's side and, seeing that he was alright, immediately pushed through the crowd to check on the little girl.
The little girl was placed on someone's lap and her back was patted hard, but she didn't react at all.
Her mother and brother, their eyes red, cried out the little girl's name, "Little Sister, Little Sister, wake up!"
"What should we do?!"
"Sigh, she's not breathing anymore..."
Shen Shuyi rushed to the little girl's side in one stride, "Let me do it!"
She knelt down and first reached her finger under the girl's nose. The girl's breath was so faint that she could hardly feel it, and her chest was not rising or falling.
"Make way! I'll give you first aid!"
Shen Shuyi raised her voice and shouted to drive away the crowd that had gathered around her; her voice trembled but was unusually firm.
Everyone hesitated; she was already dead, could she really be saved?
At this moment, Wang Wen and Li Donghai also came over and saw Shen Shuyi lay the little girl flat on the ground and press her palms together on the little girl's body.
The little child's chest bounced up from her pressure; the force was immense.
Wang Wen muttered to herself, "Are you a doctor? Don't press around like that."
"The poor little girl, you've probably broken her body by massaging her."
Xiao Shu chimed in, "That's right, this young lady is simply outrageous!"
Li Donghai remained silent. He knew that Shen Shuyi's maternal grandfather was a traditional Chinese medicine doctor, and Shen Shuyi might have learned some basic skills...
The crowd was puzzled and stepped forward, pointing and whispering among themselves.
Yan Zheng propped himself up and used his tall frame to block the people outside. "Make way."
The man stretched out his long arm and forcefully drove the person out.
The little girl's mother was completely distraught. She didn't want to give up as long as there was a glimmer of hope, so she frantically chased people away, hoping that her daughter could be rescued.
Shen Shuyi ignored the sounds around her and pressed her palms down vertically.
"one two three……"
She counted the rhythm, putting all her strength into each count, her knuckles turning white from the effort, and sweat quickly beading on her forehead.
After pressing 30 times, she turned her head to clear the sand and seawater from the girl's mouth and nose. Then, she supported the back of the little girl's neck with one hand, pinched her chin with the other, tilted her head back to open the airway, and lowered her head to gently blow air into her lips.
The sea breeze, carrying a salty, fishy smell, lashed against her face, but she was oblivious, her eyes fixed only on the girl's pale, bloodless face.
Despite repeated pressing and blowing, my arm was already sore and numb, but the little girl still didn't respond.
The whispers and pointing around them grew louder, and a hint of smugness flashed in Wang Wen's eyes.
She's so ambitious and eager for quick success; now she's about to embarrass herself in front of everyone. Let Commander Yan see her ignorance!
Suddenly, the little girl coughed violently, and a mouthful of seawater spilled from the corner of her mouth.
Shen Shuyi's eyes instantly reddened. She quickly turned the girl to the side and patted her back until the girl coughed up several mouthfuls of seawater and finally let out a weak sob: "Mother..."
"He's alive! He's come back to life!"
A gasp erupted from the crowd. The woman rushed over and hugged her daughter, weeping as she kowtowed to Shen Shuyi.
"Thank you for saving my daughter."
Shen Shuyi propped herself up on her knees and stood up. She stumbled and was supported by Yan Zheng. "Don't thank me in time. Take her to the clinic."
She looked at Yan Zheng and saw that he had wounds on his legs and arms, and they were bleeding.
"Brother Yan, you're injured."
"I'm fine." Yan Zheng wiped the sweat from her forehead.
Shen Shuyi grabbed his hand, "Brother Yan, let's go home quickly. I'll bandage your wound when we get back."
"Okay." Yan Zheng and she rode away on their bicycles.
The crowd gradually dispersed, and the thrilling scene remained in many people's minds.
They never expected that someone who seemed lifeless could be brought back to life; this woman was truly remarkable.
Wang Wen watched Yan Zheng and Shen Shuyi leave, and then she stomped her foot.
Xiao Shu comforted her, "Sister Wen, she just got lucky, it was pure luck."
"Don't you think so, Donghai?"
Startled by the sudden mention, Lee Donghae quickly snapped out of his reverie and replied, "Yes."
"Huh? Say something." Xiao Shu felt a little uncomfortable. She had just noticed that Li Donghai was staring at Shen Shuyi as she rescued the child, and his gaze was strange, not like he was looking at a stranger.
