"You really don't treat me like an outsider," Moxi said casually as he typed on the keyboard.
"Anyway, you can't go to the human world, so it doesn't matter."
That makes sense. Moxi is usually quite busy, and even when he has free time, he stays in the Space-Time Alliance and doesn't often go to the human world. Once the mission is over, they will be parallel lines, no longer intersecting, and return to their original lives. So she feels that it doesn't matter what.
Moxi pursed his lips, and after a long while, he turned his head to look at her, a half-smile on his face, and said, "How do you know I won't go to the human world in the future?"
"You're too busy, so it's better if you don't come to the human world. It's unnecessary." Shang Xian didn't really want Mo Xi to reappear after the mission was over, since they were from different worlds to begin with.
Moxi snorted coldly: "If you put it that way, I really might have to come and see you sometime."
Shang Xian: "..."
Seeing that Shang Xian choked, he calmed down a bit and continued with his business.
Moxi turned the laptop screen to Shang Xian: "They've run into a cash flow problem, and the shareholders probably don't know about it yet. We could tell them and buy their shares..."
Shang Xian waved his hand: "No, just have the shareholders withdraw their investment. The Zhao family doesn't need to exist anymore. I don't want to blow up the company again."
She didn't want to play those hardcore games a second time; she couldn't handle it.
"Alright then." Since she wants to do it, let her have her way.
Once these photos are posted, it becomes a different story.
Moxi pressed Enter and leaned back on the sofa: "It'll be over soon."
"There's still a long way to go."
"Want to leave?" Moxi chuckled lightly.
"Whether I stay or leave is up to you. After all, you gave me this rebirth, so I think it's fair." This is a transaction; Moxi made her do things in balance with her life.
"No rush, take your time, there's plenty of time," he said. But later he just felt that time was too short, and he wished he could go faster...
They chatted casually, while their inboxes received one text message after another.
"Here it is," Moxi opened his eyes, opened his email, and Shang Xian also came over.
The text messages were all asking who he was and whether what he said was true.
They exchanged a glance and smiled at each other, then quickly typed two numbers on the keyboard and sent them out.
Just after the message was sent, Moxi and Shangxian's phones rang.
One went to the balcony and the other to the bedroom, and they both answered the phone.
Shang Xian stood on the balcony, answering a call from a shareholder, but the person on the other end of the line sounded very young.
"You're saying the Zhao family is going to fall?"
Upon hearing this voice, Shang Xian was filled with doubt. Could it be another young and promising CEO?
Hearing that Shang Xian remained silent, he continued, "If the Zhao family is about to fall, then they need to resolve their internal problems first. So, do you have ulterior motives for bringing this up?"
"Yes, there's an ulterior motive." The other person was intelligent and knew it immediately.
"Then what is your purpose?" the other person asked again.
"I have a grudge against Zhao Yumu, so I want to bring down the entire Zhao family. Is there a problem with that?"
After a moment of silence, Shang Xian lost his patience: "If you want to continue investing in the Zhao family, then go ahead. You're next."
That damn threat was brilliant!
