Chapter Thirty-Four: The Scheming, Melancholy Prince's Online Revenge [34]

"Are you alright?" Luo Qingxian asked, looking at her feet.

Shang Xian quickly shook her head, afraid that Luo Qingxian would do something outrageous to her again.

"Let's go back..." Shang Xian was now speaking incoherently.

Luo Qingxian nodded, helped Shang Xian to the door, and tried to open it several times but failed.

Shang Xian felt a pang of sadness; it seemed the domineering CEO had really locked the door...

Now she really wants to leave this place. Luo Qingxian is a wolf in sheep's clothing, and she is so scared.

He was too clever for his own good!

Shang Xian was on the verge of tears; no matter how clever they were, they couldn't possibly open the door that Shen Yi had locked.

"The door is broken." Luo Qingxian looked up at Shang Xian.

What I saw was the little fairy who was eagerly waiting outside...

Luo Qingxian had no choice but to help Shang Xian sit down on the sofa.

"Did you bring your phone? Give them a call," Luo Qingxian asked Shang Xian, since she had left her phone at class.

Shang Xian's eyes lit up. She took out her phone, and the instant she turned it on, she saw light. The next second, "beep beep—"

The device will automatically shut down when the battery is low.

Shang Xian angrily slammed her phone onto the sofa. "Pah! I'm never buying this brand of phone again, it's garbage!"

This made her cry again, and this time she leaned on Luo Qingxian's shoulder in a fit of pain.

What does image matter? What image is there compared to her current emotions?

Luo Qingxian patted her back comfortingly, listening to her sobs.

When Shen Yi and Mo Xi heard Shang Xian crying, they didn't know what had happened. Shen Yi felt uneasy and couldn't concentrate on reading any of the documents in his hands. The more upset he became, the quieter he became.

I cried for a while and then got a little thirsty, so I stopped.

"Why are you helping me so earnestly?" He could tell that Shang Xian was actually a very kind girl, willing to use her kiss to teach him what to do.

He was stunned because he thought Shang Xian was the kind of person who would kiss anyone she could grab, but when he kissed her just now, he clearly felt Shang Xian's reaction; she was resisting.

Shang Xian's little brain immediately started working, and she looked at Luo Qingxian: "Want to hear the truth?"

Luo Qingxian nodded; of course he wanted to.

"Do you remember the childhood sweetheart I told you about last time?" Shang Xian said with a wry smile during her performance.

"Remember"

"I told you back then that he ended up with the girl he liked, right?"

Luo Qingxian nodded.

Shang Xian sighed deeply: "Actually, the ending wasn't like that. My childhood sweetheart didn't end up with the girl he liked; he's still lying in the hospital."

"What happened?" This reversal piqued Luo Qingxian's curiosity.

"He loved that girl, but she didn't hesitate to hurt him and be with another boy. It's all my fault for not helping him pursue that girl. If I had helped him, maybe he wouldn't still be lying in the hospital now..." Shang Xian sniffed, conjuring up a scene in her mind that moved her to tears.

“This has nothing to do with you. He’s just too stubborn.” Luo Qingxian realized that this was similar to himself, except that he didn’t particularly love An Yi. He was just used to having An Yi by his side.

"No, it's precisely because of that that the relationship exists. If I had advised him to give up instead of encouraging him to win her back and helping him pursue that girl..."

Luo Qingxian finally understood, "So you want to help me make up for the guilt you feel towards your childhood friend?"
