Chapter 284 The Runaway Bride Doesn't Run Away [38]

Why didn't Moxixi directly recruit her this time?

She walked into the magic circle, confused, and disappeared from the spot.

It was the same familiar villa. Shang Xian didn't know where this villa was located. Every time she came, it led directly into the interior, which made her quite curious.

She entered the living room, which was pitch black. She fumbled in the dark for the light switch. The curtains were closed, but she didn't dare to open them, not knowing whether Moxi, this vampire, was afraid of sunlight.

She pressed herself against the wall and seemed to find the light switch; with a "click," the room instantly lit up.

Then, patches of blood on the sofa assaulted her senses, but she couldn't see Moxi anywhere.

"Moxi, are you there?" Shang Xian looked around but couldn't find Moxi. She went upstairs, opened the door to the master bedroom, and saw a figure leaning against a sofa on the balcony with his back to her.

She slowly approached, certain that Moxi knew she was behind him.

She was still horrified when she saw the bloodstains still on the sofa.

"You've come," Moxi yawned nonchalantly, patted the spot next to him, and when he saw the bloodstains on the sofa, he paused for a moment, then waved his hand, and the bloodstains on the sofa disappeared.

"Are you crazy?" Shang Xian really wanted to give him a good beating!

Does being a superhuman really mean you're invincible?

Moxi looked down at himself: "I'm a little dirty, I'm going to take a shower."

He stood up, but Shang Xian pressed him down.

Moxi's white shirt was covered in glaring red, and the front buttons were undone, revealing his physique.

"Take off your clothes." Seeing that he wasn't doing it himself, Shang Xian reached out and ripped off his clothes, but she was very careful, afraid of hurting him.

Moxi stared at her face for a while before saying, "But I'm fine."

"Where is the medicine?" Shang Xian didn't even respond to his question.

Moxi pointed to the vintage cabinet beside the bed: "The second shelf from the bottom."

Shang Xian walked to the cabinet and squatted down, carefully looking at the words on the medicine bottle, but she really couldn't understand them, and she couldn't smell anything when she opened it.

"The green porcelain bottle and the white porcelain bottle," Moxi said, leaning on the back of the sofa, his chin propped up, a slight smile on his face.

Shang Xian stood by the bedside with the medicine in her hand: "Come here."

Moxi obediently got off the sofa, walked to the bedside, and lay down directly.

Shang Xian was very satisfied with this and was very self-aware of it.

Shang Xian sat by the bed and cleaned his wound with a towel. Instantly, the basin of water turned red, and a bloody smell filled the air. But Shang Xian felt that this bloody smell was different from human blood; it smelled somewhat fragrant.

"You smell so good," Shang Xian said directly.

Moxi suddenly turned to look at her: "Do I smell good?"

"Your blood smells quite good." Shang Xian took a dry towel and wiped the water off his back before starting to apply medicine.

"Want to try a bite?" Moxi asked, propping his chin up with his hand, his tone slightly joking.

"No one has tasted my blood yet... Ouch..." Mo Xi gasped, turning his head to look at Shang Xian, whose face was cold and indifferent, his eyes shimmering with autumn light: "It hurts, be gentle."

She does look rather pitiful.

Shang Xian glared at him, then softened her movements: "Stop fooling around."

"I'm not kidding, you can really try it," Moxi said with certainty.

Shang Xian was amused by him and shook her head as she quietly applied the medicine to him.
