They had no choice but to accept it.
Shang Xian spoke with them, and both sides resolved the matter amicably.
After leaving the hospital, Zuo Lie couldn't help but applaud Shang Xian. This girl may not talk much and have a cold face, but when it comes to crucial moments, her communication skills are undoubtedly outstanding.
Shang Xian dislikes others commenting on her, whether it's good or bad.
"Now let's go back to class." After starting the car, Zuo Lie quickly drove back to Yaster High School.
"Teacher, will all the students in Class 39 get into university?" Shang Xian asked this very important question, sitting in the back seat, seemingly bored.
"If Zhongchen guarantees it, then it definitely can."
Shang Xian was relieved; she only needed to spend one semester here.
"We still need to urge him on his studies, after all, we need to think about the future." Zuo Lie came from their era, so naturally he knows a lot.
"You've got a lot to do," Shang Xian nudged Shen Yi beside him.
Shen Yi looked out the window. He didn't like to meddle in other people's business, but since he had taken over this class, he really considered himself their leader. His responsibility was to make them study hard and protect Class 39. It was that simple.
They arrived back in Yaster around noon, so Zuo Lie took them out for lunch before they returned.
As Shen Yi passed by the window, he saw that Class 39 was still exactly the same as before!
It's a mess.
He stood quietly at the door, watching inside. None of the people inside noticed Shen Yi's presence until one of them accidentally threw a paper airplane out the window and was startled when he saw Shen Yi.
Shen Yi opened the classroom door and walked to the podium.
The classroom was completely silent, the kind of silence where you could hear a pin drop.
Shen Yi stood there without saying a word, while the students below felt as if they were being slowly tortured.
"Not a shred of sense of crisis?" Shen Yi finally spoke, and the whole class breathed a sigh of relief.
I'm afraid Brother Yu won't say anything. It would be good if he scolded them, but he shouldn't remain silent!
They were scared!
"You have to be true to yourselves. Everyone thinks you're not what those so-called good students are, but they forget that you all came to Astor University with solid foundations, and there's no such thing as someone who isn't good at studying. So I hope you treat your studies like you treat a fight, and work hard to get into university."
He knew that they were all upright and honest gentlemen, not those hypocrites who resorted to petty tricks.
In his view, studying is not the only way out. Some people are not outstanding in academics, but they can complement each other in other areas. The fact that his classmates were able to come to Astor means that they are all capable. Now he just wants to urge them to study.
"We'll continue with the dictation of words as we discussed yesterday," Shen Yi said, taking out his English book and beginning the dictation.
Most of the students were panicking, and Yu Ge's words were actually true!
Some people were quite happy, because they had listened to Yuan Yu so much, and they had even memorized several of his poems.
Shang Xian sat below, completely bewildered. Shen Yi stepped down and circled around, noticing that Shang Xian's notebook only contained Chinese translations without a single English word, and was genuinely filled with questions.
Since Shang Xian was able to skip grades, why was he stumped by these few English words?
Shang Xian herself was also sad. She knew that English was her weakness, so she rarely touched it.
Finally, she simply threw the notebook aside and stopped writing, then lay down to sleep.
