Shang Xian looked at Yu Shu with sympathy, then handed them the breakfast.
"You guys go to the company, I'm going back to catch up on my sleep, bye~" Shang Xian took a few steps and then turned back: "Um, how do I get back?"
Si Lichuan's inner monologue: What is this thing?
Qiao Beiqiu's inner monologue: My sister is really interesting.
Yu Shu's inner monologue: My chance to escape has arrived!
"I'll take you home. You two should hurry to the company and be careful!" Yu Shu pulled Shang Xian, shoved her into the car, and disappeared in a flash.
"I think he's asking for it," Qiao Beiqiu said, arms crossed, watching the car drive away.
Si Lichuan nodded: "Tie him up tonight."
"It's arranged," Qiao Beiqiu said, extending her hand, which Si Lichuan grasped. "Understood."
——
After Yu Shu took her home, he left as well.
My heart is still unsettled. Even now, after all this time, Moxi hasn't said a single word.
"Moxi, are you there?" Shang Xian asked again.
There has still been no response.
"Where are you? You haven't said a word, you're making me so anxious!" As she spoke, tears streamed down her face again.
Sure enough, as soon as she started crying, the surrounding environment changed.
"Why are you crying? I'm not dead," Moxi said casually, lying on the bed.
But his face was frighteningly pale. Shang Xian rushed to the bedside and stared at him: "Are you injured anywhere?"
Moxi shook his head: "Could it hurt me?"
"I don't believe it!" She recalled that when Moxi hugged her, he must have injured his back.
"Is your back injured?" Shang Xian asked tentatively.
"No"
As soon as Moxi finished speaking, Shang Xian immediately said, "Yes, there is!"
She reached out to turn him over, but Moxi didn't budge.
"You're lying like this with your back injured, do you know how much it hurts?" Shang Xian threw herself on him, crying as she scolded him.
Moxi sighed helplessly and sat up. He couldn't do anything about it. The little girl had just cried in distress, and he was afraid she would worry, so he endured the pain and lay down as if nothing had happened. He had underestimated her intelligence.
Moxi was wearing a white shirt with a bloodstain on the back.
Shang Xian didn't know what to do. She hastily wiped away her tears and asked anxiously, "What should we do?"
Moxi grasped her hand, which she seemed unsure of where to put: "I'm really fine, this injury will heal quickly, I'm just a little anemic right now."
He just wanted to reassure her, since she was anemic anyway.
Shang Xian almost forgot that he was a vampire. She stretched out her neck and asked, "Then wouldn't it be better if you just drank some blood?"
Moxi stroked her fair neck with his fingertips and chuckled, "Aren't you afraid of getting hurt?"
"Yes, I'm scared," she replied without hesitation. "But if you were gone, I'd be even more scared."
Moxi suddenly froze.
"Hurry up, or I'll get scared," Shang Xian nudged his shoulder.
Moxi moved closer to her neck and smelled her fragrance, which was like the scent of a flower field after the rain, light and delicate.
Shang Xian, who had been keeping her eyes closed, quietly opened them: "Hurry up! Stop being so indecisive!"
"I was just kidding, I don't drink your blood," Moxi whispered in her ear. After saying that, he gently pressed his thin lips against her neck. Just that one moment, and Shang Xian felt a shiver run through her. His lips were so cold.
Shang Xian assumed he had bumped into it unintentionally, but he didn't know what it meant.
"I told you to suck it up, so hurry up! You're so annoying, you vampire!" Shang Xian was also getting impatient. He grabbed Moxi's chin and pulled him against his neck.
