Chapter 310 We're Divorced [7]

Mo Xi beckoned to Xiao Mo with his finger and whispered in his ear, "Please stop looking for Manman. I don't have a second life to save her."

"What do you mean?!" He wants Xiao Mo to give up? Dream on!

"It doesn't mean anything. She's someone I'd protect with my life. I don't want her to get hurt again. It's that simple."

"It's absolutely impossible to get him to give up, so you should just give up." Rong Ning sighed. This man in front of her must be very good to Man Bai. Compared to him, Xiao Mo from before was really not human!

"Okay, then I'll take my leave." Moxi went to the front desk and bought two more cups of milk tea, two small cakes, and two puddings to take back with him.

"Mo Mo, I think you should still..." Rong Ning was interrupted by Xiao Mo before she could finish speaking: "He's better than me, right?"

Rong Ning nodded without hesitation: "Compared to him, you're really not human. Look, he even brought back some desserts for Man Bai when he went back." Wait, Man Bai?

They exchanged a glance, paid, and rushed out immediately.

From afar, Xiao Mo saw a girl in a white dress next to Mo Xi. He could never forget that figure. It was her, it was her!

They got into the car, and Xiao Mo followed behind them all the way to a villa.

Moxi and Shangxian glanced in the rearview mirror and both smiled, "This is going to be another good show."

“Do everything my way,” Moxi said.

Shang Xian gave an OK sign.

The two got out of the car, and the car behind them was getting closer and closer. Mo Xi pushed Shang Xian into the house and whispered, "Go inside first, and don't come out under any circumstances."

Shang Xian nodded, pressed his fingerprint to open the door, and jogged into the villa.

Moxi turned around and looked at the car behind him. Xiao Mo and Rong Ning got out of the car.

"Interesting?" Moxi was very dissatisfied with their actions, and he now had a roguish look on his face.

"Xiao Mo won't give up until he sees Man Bai, so I advise you to let them meet."

Moxi gestured for her to come out: "If only you can get her out, then go ahead."

Xiao Mo sensed that something was amiss.

Moxi kindly reminded her, "Oh, right, I forgot to tell you, Manman has some hearing problems because of her paranoia. The chances of her hearing your voice are almost zero, so I don't want you to meet with her."

He stood before Xiao Mo, his eyes filled with malice: "Haven't you hurt her badly enough? If it were me two years ago, when I first found out about this, I would have killed you on the spot. I haven't been as hot-tempered in the last two years, so you should be grateful."

"What happened to your hearing?" Xiao Mo calmed down and asked about her condition. He wanted to make up for everything he hadn't known over the years.

Moxi led them to sit on chairs in the small garden, where a pot of freshly brewed flower tea sat on the table.

He poured them a glass and said, "Hearing loss. She tried to kill herself. She tried every way she could think of to die. Later, the doctor said her hearing would deteriorate and she might not be able to hear anymore. Fortunately, it wasn't too serious; she could still hear me speaking next to her ear."

Xiao Mo gripped the glass with both hands; the warm tea couldn't warm his hands or his heart. His whole body was ice-cold.

Moxi looked at his pale fingertips, thinking that it was fortunate that the cup was of good quality, otherwise he would have really crushed it.

“Her writing is really good,” Moxi took a sip of tea and continued, “She’s also a little crazy at times.”
