Chapter 5: Love Story with the Domineering Boss
When Lu Huaian received a call from the police station, he was socializing and was a little slow to react.
However, when he heard Chi Jing's name, he came to his senses.
By the time he arrived at the police station, it was already an hour later.
When I was brought to the detention room, I immediately spotted Chi Jing huddled in the corner, hugging his knees with his head buried. His body was a mess, and he looked so aggrieved.
He frowned. He was fine when they separated at noon, but now he looked like this.
Chi Jing heard the voice, raised his head and looked at Lu Huaian.

He walked over and squatted in front of her. Chi Jing whispered, "The police asked me to make a phone call, but I didn't know who to call, so I called you..."
She lowered her eyes: "Did I disturb you?"
The man didn't say anything, picked her up, and walked out.
The police were waiting outside. When they saw Lu Huaian coming out, they quickly greeted him: "Mr. Lu..."

The police officer quickly said: "He is still in custody, waiting for his family to come and pick him up."

It was almost evening when they left the police station. Lu Huaian had no plans to return to the company and took Chi Jing back to the villa where he lived.
Chi Jing didn't expect that the relationship between them would progress so quickly and she would be able to move into the villa so soon.
The butler came out to greet him: "Sir, you are back. The meal will be ready soon..."
When he saw Chi Jing, he was slightly stunned: "This lady is..."
Chi Jing smiled at him, and Lu Huaian said, "Find her a new towel and clothes."
Butler: "Okay."
Lu Huaian glanced at her and said, "Go take a shower."
Chi Jing, who was daydreaming, heard: "?"
Although they have already passed that, this is too fast...
Chi Jing could hardly keep up with the speed of the car.
Lu Huaian glanced at her: "Clean up and come to the study to see me apply the medicine."
Well, it turned out that she was overthinking it.
Chi Jing obediently took her clothes and went to take a shower. Half an hour later, she went downstairs wearing Lu Huaian's shirt. After asking the housekeeper for a glass of honey water, she went into the study.
Seeing her holding a glass of water, Lu Huaian didn't say much and took out the medicine box: "Come here."
Chi Jing sat over and the man began to treat her wounds.
She was not seriously injured. Compared to her, Bai Weiwei was in a worse situation. She had pulled out several clumps of her hair.
After simply treating the wound, Chi Jing handed him the honey water in his hand.
Lu Huaian looked at the water in the cup, his slightly tired brows furrowed slightly: "What is this?"
"Honey water!" The woman's pleasant voice was particularly alluring at night, and she spoke with great seriousness: "You smell of alcohol. Did you rush here from the dinner party? Drink some honey water to make you feel better."
Lu Huaian was stunned for a moment, and glanced at her with his dark eyes.

He took it, drank a few sips, and his stomach did feel much better.

The man put down his cup and paused: "Thank me for what?"
"Thank you for helping me, otherwise I might have to spend the night in the police station."
