"Which department are you from?" Lu Huaian's sharp eyes swept over the work badge on her chest. He didn't recognize it. The man's voice suddenly turned cold: "Ordinary employees can't enter the upper level without permission. Didn't anyone teach you when you first joined the company?"
The woman's face turned pale.
The next second, the man's cold and impatient voice rang out: "Get out, you're fired!"
The woman still wanted to fight for something: "Mr. Lu..."
However, Lu Huaian had already pressed the internal button, and soon someone came in and took the woman out.
The office returned to calm. He looked at Chi Jing who was standing there and asked in a hoarse voice, "Why are you here?"
Chi Jing was stunned for two seconds, and looked at him in disbelief: "Didn't you ask me to come?"
Lu Huaian then remembered what they had agreed to do: "Sorry, I forgot."
Looking at Chi Jing's unhappy face, he turned off the computer and said, "Let's go. I'll take you to dinner."
However, they didn't expect that as soon as they went out, they were met by Lu Huaian's assistant who was holding documents for his signature.
The assistant thought Chi Jing was a partner of the company and quickly asked, "Mr. Lu, do you need me to arrange a place for you?"
"No need." He stamped the signed document and said to Chi Jing, "Let's go."
Seeing Chi Jing didn't move: "What's wrong?"
Chi Jing handed the bag in her hand to him with a sweet and innocent gesture, but said nothing.
Lu Huaian looked at her outstretched hand and was slightly stunned. He remembered that a married friend once said that he had to carry his wife's backpack every time she went out. Subconsciously, Lu Huaian took it.
"Let's go!" Chi Jing took his arm and happily followed him into the elevator.
The assistant behind him stared in disbelief. Mr. Lu was actually carrying a woman's backpack!
The two did not leave through the company gate, but went directly to the underground garage.
However, in just over ten minutes, the news that Lu Huaian was behaving intimately with a woman and helping someone carry a backpack spread throughout the company.
The place where the two of them went to eat was still Yuweiyuan.
However, Chi Jing was very absent-minded during the meal, and looked at Lu Huaian with resentful eyes, as if he had done something wrong to her.
He looked up at her.

He was a very light sleeper, and if that woman got close to him, he would definitely wake up immediately.

He raised his eyes and looked at the woman: "The fortune teller said that I won't live past thirty-five."
I thought the woman would back off, but unexpectedly, Chi Jing's eyes lit up: "Really? That's perfect! I had my fortune told when I was a child, and the fortune teller said I would bring good fortune to my husband. You and I will definitely live a long life together!!"
Lu Huaian's eyes narrowed slightly, and something seemed to be churning in his heart.
