Chapter 394 The Coward's Black Moonlight Witch 25

Chapter 394 The Coward's Black Moonlight Witch 25

"Qinyuanchun Changsha was written by Chairman Mao in the late autumn of 1925 when he was 32 years old..." Chen Lanru was lecturing at the podium, her voice clear and infectious.

Chu Bojian just looked up and quickly lowered his head. The corner of his eyes unconsciously glanced behind Chen Lanru, but suddenly he made eye contact with the little girl.

Chu Bojian's heart suddenly tightened. He pretended to take notes seriously, his fingers tightly wrapped around the pen, his knuckles turning pale from the force.

But if you look closely, you will find that there is not a single word in his notebook.

At this moment, the little girl's voice sounded beside him: "Brother, you can see me, so can you do me a favor?"

Although her voice was clear, it echoed like a hollow sound in the silent classroom, making people feel an indescribable horror.

Chu Bojian's heartbeat was like being gripped by an invisible hand, accelerating to the point of nearly jumping out of his chest. "Don't look for me, look for her!"

After saying that, Chu Bojian quickly pointed in the direction of Shen Xinran.

He and Shen Xinran originally sat at the same table, but this morning, Chen Lanru felt that boys and girls should be separated, so she helped them change seats.

When he saw the little girl floating in the direction he pointed, Chu Bojian slumped in his chair and breathed a long sigh of relief.

Shen Xinran was staring at the scenery outside the window in a daze when she heard the little girl's voice: "Sister, that brother asked me to come find you."

Shen Xinran turned his gaze to Chu Bojian, frowning slightly.

Chu Bojian noticed Shen Xinran's gaze and lowered his head even lower, his face almost touching the textbook. It was no wonder he was trying to shift the blame; it was because this little girl was so terrifying.

Shen Xinran looked at the little girl who was speaking, and saw that an ominous black aura was wrapped around her body, like cold tentacles, ready to grab anyone who dared to approach her.

The little girl smiled at Shen Xinran, but the smile was distorted due to lack of warmth, like a doll forgotten in the dark.

"Sister, my body is tied up with ropes. Could you please tell my mother to help me untie it?"

Shen Xinran's eyes slowly focused, and she nodded gently to indicate her agreement.

A look of joy appeared on the little girl's face. "Thank you, sister. When I can talk to my mother again, I'll ask her to treat you to some candy."

Chu Bojian glanced quietly in the direction of Shen Xinran, and saw the little girl standing beside Shen Xinran, her lips slightly open, talking non-stop.

Her face was as pale as paper, without a trace of blood.

Her little skirt swayed gently in the empty air, and the bow on her braid, which should have been a symbol of liveliness, looked eerie under the entanglement of black air.

Chu Bojian was frightened to the point of breaking out in a cold sweat, but Shen Xinran was not afraid at all. She stared at the little girl intently and listened to her chatter.

"Actually, I don't know how I ended up like this. I woke up and found myself tied up. I could only follow my mother. I called her, but she ignored me..."

The bell rang crisply, and Chen Lanru packed up her textbooks and said gently to the students, "Okay, that's all for this class. We'll continue in the next one."

Just as she was about to leave, Shen Xinran's voice came from behind her: "Teacher Chen."

Chen Lanru turned around and gave Shen Xinran an encouraging smile, "Tan Shi, do you have any questions about your studies?"

Shen Xinran's gaze penetrated the noise of the classroom and looked quietly into Chen Lanru's eyes, but he did not speak.

Chen Lanru kept smiling and said, "If you feel it's inconvenient to talk here, you can come to the teacher's office first."

Shen Xinran nodded, followed Chen Lanru silently, crossed the corridor, and came to the teacher's office. Since they came back as soon as the get out of class was over, the office was empty.

After Chen Lanru sat down, Shen Xinran slowly spoke: "Your daughter asked me to tell you that she was tied up with a rope and asked you to save her."

Chen Lanru frowned. "I don't know how you knew I had a daughter, but this is an eternal pain in my heart. I don't want you to treat it as a joke."

Chen Xinran turned behind Chen Lanru and continued, "She also said that she hid her favorite puppy doll under the bed and asked you to help her get it out. When she misses her, she can hug the puppy doll. It has her scent on it."

When Chen Lanru heard the word "puppy doll," she froze, her lips trembling slightly as she tried to ask something. But the teachers in the office had already returned one after another.

After Shen Xinran finished conveying the little girl's words, he turned and left the office, leaving Chen Lanru sitting in the chair, unable to calm down for a long time.

When Chen Lanru got home from get off work, Jia Wenxiu was busy in the kitchen, and the sounds of spatulas colliding with pots and pans were intertwined.

Chen Lanru didn't stay for long. She walked straight to her daughter's former room, her heart beating like a drum. She didn't know what she was nervous about or what she was looking forward to.

After my daughter left, this place changed from a princess room to a storage room, but fortunately my daughter's bed is still there.

Chen Lanru squatted down, lay under the bed, and explored back and forth in the shadow under the bed with a thin stick.

When she finally drew the puppy doll, her tears flowed like pearls from a broken string, unable to stop.

She picked up the dusty doll, hugged it tightly, and cried silently.

This puppy doll was a gift she gave to her daughter personally when she was one year old. Her daughter loves it so much that she holds it in her arms before falling asleep every night.

However, one day the doll suddenly disappeared, and she thought her daughter had grown up and no longer needed it, so she didn't investigate further.

Only now did she realize her daughter had hidden it under the bed.

When Zheng Guanqing came back, he first looked towards the kitchen and asked, "Mom, is Lanru back?"

While cooking, Jia Wenxiu replied, "I don't know."

Zheng Guanqing looked towards the room and saw that the door of one of the rooms was ajar, and a faint whimpering sound could be heard from inside the room.

He walked forward, opened the door, and sighed at Chen Lanru in the room. "Tongtong has been gone for so long, why did you open this room again?"

Chen Lanru raised her head and looked at Zheng Guanqing with tears in her eyes. "Tongtong didn't leave. She even sent me a message saying she needs my help."

Zheng Guanqing walked to Chen Lanru's side, stroked her back with his warm palms, and comforted her: "Tongtong must want to see us happy in heaven, you should get over it sooner too."

Chen Lanru cried in Zheng Guanqing's arms, shaking her head in denial, "No, no, Tongtong didn't leave——"

Just when Chen Lanru was about to tell Zheng Guanqing about the puppy, Jia Wenxiu's voice came from outside the room, "Guanqing, come out for dinner."

Zheng Guanqing patted Chen Lanru's head and said with a smile, "Let's eat first. You can take a nap after dinner. When you wake up, you will feel better."

Chen Lanru clenched the doll in her hand and stopped talking. Some things were hard to believe, so she had to find her daughter first before she could prove it to her husband.
