Chapter 17: Tool Man Male Supporting Role 1 (1/2)

The next year, Liu Yun became pregnant and gave birth to a boy, named Zhang Yi. Wang Wenxiu couldn't bear to leave her great-grandson, so she finally decided to settle down in Shuangcheng. Tu Yufan bought another villa separated by a wall and hired a nanny to take care of her. She could come and see her great-grandson when she had time, and when she was free, she would grow vegetables in the small garden of the villa.

The Chen Group has gradually become a benchmark in the industry, and his name has become a symbol of wealth.

More than ten years later, Wang Wenxiu died in her sleep, and decades later, Liu Yun also died peacefully. Before leaving, she looked at Tu Yufan deeply, reached out her hand and held him tightly, with reluctance flashing in her eyes.

Tu Yufan also shook her hand back. After an unknown amount of time, the corners of her mouth moved slightly and she smiled. Suddenly, her hands lost strength and she would never wake up again.

As the familiar people slowly left, Tu Yufan also felt his energy slowly slipping away.

"System, how much time do I have left?"

The system was silent for a moment, then said, "Brother Fan, you won't make it past midnight."

He didn't have any feelings in his heart, but he summoned everyone that night. Zhang Yi stood at the front. He was already an old man in his sixties, and his granddaughter had just started elementary school. Everyone gathered around the bed.

Tu Yufan had nothing much to say. He had already relinquished power more than ten years ago. He only had one son, Zhang Yi, and there was no property dispute.

He glanced at everyone, their expressions varied, some sad, some heartbroken, some indifferent, and he slowly closed his eyes.

Before he lost consciousness, he heard loud crying, among which Zhang Yi cried the loudest, which seemed to be worthwhile in raising him.

For a thing like this, there shouldn't be any regrets.

......

Tu Yufan opened his eyes and found his shoulders slumped.

"Yufan, what are you daydreaming about? Hurry up and move your things into the car." Sun Tao said loudly with a stern face.

They were probably moving cement here. Tu Yufan was wearing a ragged short-sleeved shirt, his face was tanned black, and sweat was pouring down his body, sticking to his clothes, which was very uncomfortable.

But he didn't think much about it and continued to take over Sun Tao's cement and move it to the warehouse. He was busy until 7 o'clock in the evening.

Sun Tao was in a good mood when he saw that Tian Tian was making good progress: "Good boy, Tian Tian must have eaten pig feed. You are moving so fast that I can hardly keep up."

Tu Yufan smiled shyly, and Sun Tao waved his hand, inviting everyone to have a meal together at a roadside restaurant.

When he returned to the dormitory, it was already past 8 o'clock. Tu Yufan took a quick shower and lay on the lower bunk to accept the plot.

The owner was 18 years old. His college entrance examination scores were not ideal and he could not get into university. His family lived in the mountainous area and was poor, so he did not continue his studies and went to Yuncheng to work.

He now has a part-time job as a cement porter, earning around 300 kg a day, paid weekly.

According to the plot, the protagonist's parents will go up the mountain to collect Chinese medicine two days later and will both die in a mudslide.

After the client went home to deal with the matter, he found a yellowed note while cleaning up his household items. The amount on the note was 10,000 yuan, and there was a handprint in the lower corner, which stated that the borrower was Huang Cuixiang and the lender was Huang Yushu.

Huang Yushu is the hostess's mother, and Huang Cuixiang is the hostess's aunt whom she has not seen for more than ten years. They live in Yuncheng.

The protagonist also has an uncle with whom he has lost contact. When he was young, due to family conflicts, he went out to work alone. Later, he married a wife in the city and gave birth to a daughter who took his wife's surname, that is, the heroine Zhu Shuangshuang.

There is an address on the back of the IOU, which I think was written by Huang Yushu, and the handwriting is a bit crooked.

The host found his aunt according to the address and explained his purpose directly.
