What Chu Mu didn't know was that as soon as he left, someone walked in from outside the bedroom door.
The moonlight illuminated the man's face.
He looks delicate and frail, but his eyes are frighteningly deep.
It's Shi'e.
He walked to Leng Si's side and looked down at the person on the bed: "Fan Ji, ah Fan Ji, you have come to this day."
The sleeping person should have not reacted, but Leng Si suddenly opened his eyes and grabbed Shi E's wrist before he could retreat.
"You!" Shi Er's face darkened, "You have awakened."
Leng Si slowly sat up from the bed and looked at Shi Er with eyes that were neither sad nor happy: "Ling Yi, nothing can be hidden from me."
"Haha," Shi Er, no, he should be called Ling Yi, sneered in disdain, "Yes, our great Lord God, who founded the Lord of Brahma, can't even keep a little Chu Mu."
"Shut up." Leng Si's fingers shone with white light, tightly restraining Ling Yi who was about to break free. "You are also me. The meaning of your existence has been fulfilled. It's time to reclaim you."
Ling Yi's eyes flashed with blue light: "Don't even think about it!"
…
The scarred ground opened its mouth wide and dark, and black air climbed up around Chu Mu's feet.
Lao Ba trembled: "Mumumumu, do you really want to jump? Are you sure?"
Chu Mu looked at it with amusement: "Do you think my judgment is wrong?"
Lao Ba was startled: "It seems - indeed -"
"Okay, stop talking nonsense. It won't be good if someone sees us." Chu Mu looked back at the distant villa building and said, "Come back to my consciousness space."
Lao Ba was overjoyed and disappeared in a flash.
Chu Mu took a deep breath, spread his arms and rushed towards the crack abyss.
The crack was filled with thick black fog.
All kinds of heart-wrenching screams tore at Chu Mu's eardrums.
It was as if a pair of sharp claws were snatching his soul.
Chu Mu was shaking with pain.
It hurts so much.
He tried hard to stay awake, but he fell into darkness uncontrollably.
In the dim light, it seemed as if a pair of hands gently covered his ears.
It was as if an embrace was gently holding him.
The pain receded like the tide, the black fog dissipated, and my whole body felt soft.
Chu Mu's frown slowly relaxed.
The cracks that spanned the ground of the port city simultaneously emitted brilliant white light, and then slowly closed until no trace was left.
This world has been repaired.
Fang Mo anxiously walked through the crowd and bumped into Fatty Yuan who was also in a panic.
"I've looked everywhere, but I can't find it. Where are you?"
Fatty Yuan shook his head: "No."
Lu Xiaolu looked like he was about to cry: "Where did they go?"
"Brother Chu and Brother Leng may have eloped, but why is the crocodile also missing?"
"Elope?" Lu Xiaolu found it hard to understand. "Do you think we're too much of a nuisance?"
Fang Mo patted his head: "Don't think too much."
"Commander, Commander!" At this moment, an excited guard rushed over shouting, "Cracks! The cracks in the ground have disappeared."
Fang Mo and the others' expressions changed, and they all ran outside.
The abyss crack disappeared, and the black air covering the city also disappeared without a trace.
There are also those strange and mutated creatures, as if they were taken away by someone overnight.
The city, which had been dead for a long time, was still full of ruins, but it showed a long-lost vitality under the sunlight.
"What's going on?"
Everyone looked at each other, finding it hard to believe their eyes.
"God's will," the Ice and Snow Goddess opened her chaotic eyes, "Go back, there's no need to look for it anymore."
Fang Mo's pupils trembled: "You mean?"
"God descended. The compassionate God could not bear to see the world suffer. He came with life, and when his mission was completed, he quietly left."
There was silence all around, and no one responded to her.
"What to do next is our responsibility, let's go back."
The Ice and Snow Goddess walked away first.
Fang Mo, Fatty Yuan and the others watched silently for a while, then turned around one by one and said, "Let's go."
…
The thick night was like a giant beast, stirring up rolling black clouds, as if it was going to swallow up the world.
A group of young men and women sat in an open space surrounded by weeds.
The fire in front of them crackled, and the sporadic splashes of flames did not scare these pampered young masters and young ladies. Instead, they could not help but move closer.
"Whose cell phone still has battery?" a girl in a white dress asked tremblingly.
"I'm out of stock." The trendily dressed young man shook his phone. "I was livestreaming and it's all gone."
"I don't have any either." Another girl with a ponytail complained, "The director said we'd only have to go up the mountain for two hours and then come back down, and I didn't even bring a power bank."
There were obviously many people in the same situation as her. Everyone complained and put the blame on the director who was far away at the foot of the mountain.
"Hey, Chu Mu," Ponytail called to someone away from the fire, "You didn't even start the live broadcast, so there should be electricity, right?"
In an instant, all eyes turned towards that direction.
The boy who was the focus had medium-length hair that was longer than his ears. It was not the kind that had been specially trimmed, but was simply long.
It was so long that it covered his eyes.
There was contempt in everyone's eyes, just like the seat he was sitting in at that moment, he was only fit to squat in a corner where there was no access to fire.
Chu Mu reached into his pocket, pressed the power button, and held up the black screen phone to show everyone: "I forgot to charge it yesterday."
"Tsk." The girl with ponytail sneered, and then everyone turned their attention away from Chu Mu.
Chu Mu hugged his knees, his eyes hidden behind his hair, looking at them with interest.
