Transformed into a great enemy substitute (29)

At the end of her speech, the village woman even straightened up her kneeling body, showing a brave and fearless spirit of risking her life.

"Bold! Insolent!" King Yin was furious, cursing but he only knew these two words.

Chu Mu squinted at him: [That's it? You're really both a novice and a playful person.]

"Your Majesty." His voice was not loud, but very pleasant, like a March breeze blowing on the face, easily attracting everyone's attention.

"Why not ask everyone at the Dali Temple to take the trouble to go to the bottom of Autumn Wind Cliff? Who knows, maybe we'll find something?"

"..." The expression in the Hidden Prince's eyes changed several times, but he calmed down. "The officers and soldiers of the Dali Temple are not idle. They don't have the time to run around everywhere... Your Excellency, you said that I deliberately wanted to frame you, but do you have evidence?"

"This...I saw it with my own eyes, it can't be fake."

The village woman has survived until now entirely out of hatred, and she only knows how to vent her pain. How would she know anything about evidence?

"Saw it with your own eyes? You were the only one who saw it!" The Hidden King slammed the table again. "What kind of evidence is that if you saw it alone?"

"Well said!"

Chu Mu also slammed the table.

"Sir Wei, those assassins said I was planning to assassinate the Emperor. Do you have any evidence?"

"this……"

The Dali Temple Minister looked to the Minister of Justice for help. The Minister was stunned for a moment, then responded in a gruff voice:

"This thief woman was seen by one person, but those assassins were a group of people. How can one mouth be compared with many mouths?"

"I don't believe it," Chu Mu didn't refute, but only challenged, "How do I know you're not lying to me?"

"Then bring them all up here," the Hidden King unawares, stepping into the trap. "I'll let you hear it with your own ears and see how you can argue."

King Yin is very confident in himself.

In other words, he has great confidence in Akron.

His adopted uncle was willing to die for him, and the assassins he trained were all tough and tight-lipped.

King Yin thought the result of the interrogation would be the same as the previous ones.

It was not until all the assassins kneeling in the hall changed their words and loudly pointed out that it was King Yin who ordered them to do so that they realized the seriousness of the problem.

"You—" The Hidden King drew his sword and pointed it at the leader of the assassins, "You are in collusion with Chaomu!"

The leader of the assassins shifted his gaze slightly towards Chu Mu who was not far away, and stayed there for only two seconds.

"My Lords," he suddenly shouted, "It was the Yin King who promised us high positions and generous salaries, and asked us to identify Master Chaomu, that made us take such a risk. If we had known that the Yin King was a man who would destroy the bridge after crossing it, we would never have tried to get the skin of a tiger!"

After saying that, he actually jumped up and rushed towards the sword of the Hidden King without hesitation.

The weapon pierced through his heart, and the spurting blood covered the Yin King's body.

"Ah!! Traitor!"

King Yin drew his sword, and the man's body fell limply to the ground.

“Big Brother!”

Another soldier cried out in pain,

"Hidden King! You bastard! I'm going to fight you!"

After saying that, he rushed towards the King of Hidden as if he didn't care about his life.

"Brother, let me help you!"

A group of people jumped up and rushed over.

The Minister of Justice woke up from his sudden shock and said, "Protect the emperor! Protect the emperor quickly!"

These assassins had their hands tied and were covered in wounds. How could they possibly be a match for the Imperial Guards?

After a while, there were corpses all over the ground.

The last person who fell down turned his head and looked at Chu Mu before he died, as if he wanted to fulfill some long-cherished wish.

He even smiled as if relieved.

"Traitor! Traitor!"

The Hidden King was like a madman, chopping the corpse with his sword continuously.

There was blood all over the floor.

Chu Mu's throat tightened slightly, as if someone was strangling it.

A warm hand reached out and gently covered Chu Mu's eyes.

"Don't look." Nan Mo's voice was low, his hands steady. "Don't be afraid."

Chu Mu's tense shoulders gradually relaxed, and he exhaled with difficulty: "Huh - the smell of blood is so strong."

Nan Mo frowned and shouted in a deep voice: "Enough!"

The Yin King was startled and turned around anxiously: "Azhi, don't believe it, everything they say is fake!"

"Do you have any evidence?" Nan Mo just asked back.

"I—I—" the Hidden King muttered several times, "What evidence do I need? I am the Supreme Lord! The Supreme Lord! Hahahaha!"

"It's all your fault!"

The Yin King's bloodshot eyes suddenly stared at Chu Mu.

"I'm going to kill you—"

He howled and swung his sword towards Chu Mu.

Bang, bang.

Nan Mo grabbed his wrist and pulled it, knocking the sword to the ground.

Without giving him any chance to react, he struck him on the back of the neck, knocking him unconscious.

Nan Mo even let go of his hand, letting the King of Yin roll back down the steps into a pool of blood.

The dead warriors at the steps stared at King Yin with their eyes still open, lifeless.

The scene was deathly silent.

"Duke of the State!"

The Minister of Justice crawled out trembling.

"How dare you insult the Emperor like this? You have no respect for the royal court..."

"How long has Lord Cai been the Minister of Justice?" Nan Mo picked up the monarch sword on the stage, and his casual attitude silenced everyone below.

"Today I just want to take my wife back home safely. I can pretend I don't know what happened here."

Nan Mo threw the Monarch Sword back to King Yin.

With a clang sound.

Very rude.

But no one else jumped out to accuse him.

Nan Mo looked around at everyone and said, "Very good. You are all loyal ministers of Daxia. If word of what happened in the Dali Temple today were to spread among the people, what do you think would happen?"
