Chapter 18: The CEO's Substitute - The Crippled Boyfriend
Holding the gradually cooling body in his arms, Gong Ye's face turned pale, and he lowered his head to whisper against Gu Shanshan's pale lips.
"Don't die, wait a little longer..."
Gong Ye spoke in Gu Shanshan's ear again and again in a trembling voice.
They tried commands, even pleas, but the person in their arms remained tightly closed, making no sound whatsoever.
"Hurry up! If anything happens to him, you'll all be executed!"
Gu Shanshan couldn't respond to him, and Gong Ye angrily berated the bodyguard driving the car.
The bodyguard, sweating profusely, answered nervously as he sped up.
"Mr. Gong, please don't worry, we'll be there in a few minutes."

The more Gu Shanshan thought about it, the paler her face became.
I had been in a coma for a long time, and my body was already very weak.

He glared angrily at Gong Ye, and then let out a furious roar.
"Get away! Don't touch me, it's disgusting!"
No one had ever dared to yell at Gong Ye like that before.
When anyone saw him, they would lower their heads in fear and not dare to look at him for more than a second.
Gong Ye's expression changed. If it were anyone else who dared to yell at him like that, they would be killed by him sooner or later.
But this person was Gu Shanshan, and fearing that he would provoke her, Gong Ye suppressed his anger.
He withdrew his stiff hand, his face icy cold.
Suppressing her temper, she said, "Shanshan, you just woke up, don't be angry, it's not good for your health."
Gong Ye spoke casually, but Gu Shanshan remembered the time she was forcibly taken from, when she cried until her eyes were swollen, and Gong Ye didn't even show up.
