Chapter 10: Disgusting
Gu Xingxian!
Upon hearing this familiar name, Gu Shanshan immediately raised her head and stared straight at Gong Ye.

As he spoke, he was about to head out towards the greenhouse behind the villa. He had lived there for at least three months and knew that the villa was actually a storage room in that dilapidated attic behind the greenhouse.
But as soon as he took a step, a sharp pain came from the table.
The rope binding his wrists hadn't been untied yet, but Gong Ye pulled hard on it, forcing Gu Shanshan to stop.
With Gong Ye pulling so hard, Gu Shanshan staggered to the side before barely managing to regain her balance.
The rough rope rubbed against the delicate skin of Gu Shanshan's wrist, and a ring of glaring red marks immediately appeared on her wrist.
Gu Shanshan felt a little pain, biting her lower lip and her eyes stinging with a soreness.

After speaking, he composed himself, his expression softening as he looked at Gu Xingxian with a relatively gentle gaze.
She spoke naturally, "Xingxian, when did you get back? You didn't even say anything so I could have sent someone to pick you up."
Gu Xingxian glanced at Gu Shanshan.
She smiled and replied, "No need. You know I'm used to being free and easy, and I'm not used to those superficial things. I came to find you."
The tone carried a unique intimacy.
