Time passed second by second, and the sunset painted the vast sky a beautiful red, but I had no heart to appreciate it.
Flowers are blooming along the path, you may slowly return home, but I wait and wait, and Lu Yuning still hasn't arrived.
Just when Shen Shi thought something had happened, Lu Yuning finally called.
"I'm downstairs at your company," Lu Yuning said, looking up at the Shen Group building through the car window.

This was her first date with Shen Shi, and Lu Yuning spent more than three hours getting ready, striving to make sure everything was in the best possible condition.

When Shen Shi heard that Lu Yuning had arrived, he instructed her, "Wait downstairs for five minutes, I'll be right down now." His footsteps followed.
Five minutes later, Shen Shi descended to the foot of the Shen family's building.
As soon as the two met, Lu Yuning threw herself into Shen Shi's arms and said triumphantly, "You got down so quickly, it seems that President Shen really missed me terribly!"
"Of course!" Shen Shi put his arm around Lu Yuning's shoulder and led her to his car.
After getting into the car, Shen Shi, being the perfect boyfriend, thoughtfully helped Lu Yuning fasten her seatbelt.
Looking at Shen Shi's handsome profile, Lu Yuning exclaimed with starry eyes, "President Shen, you're so handsome!"
"Keep it low-key." Shen Shi raised an eyebrow at her.
Lu Yuning: "..." Are all men so easily flattered?
Shen Shi took Lu Yuning to a Western restaurant. Shen Shi was a partner in the restaurant, and the restaurant always reserved the most beautiful VIP room with the best night view for him.
"Please come in, gentlemen," the waiter said, opening the door to the private room for them.
When the door to the private room opened and she saw the scene inside, Lu Yuning covered her mouth in surprise.
The words "My lifelong love" were spelled out on the wall with lily petals, and there were rabbit dolls everywhere in the room. Rabbits are Lu Yuning's zodiac animal.
On the dining table was a small box, about the size of a palm, decorated with roses that cascaded down to the floor, next to a bottle of decanted red wine.
"Don't just stand there, my little princess, go get your gift!" Shen Shi said tenderly, leading Lu Yuning to the dining table.
"I specially picked this out. Open it and see if you like it," Shen Shi said gently to Lu Yuning.
Lu Yuning opened the box as instructed, and inside lay two matching rings.
"Do you like it, Ningning?" Shen Shi asked.
Lu Yuning nodded with tears in her eyes, "I like it, I really like it." Her voice was trembling with sobs.
"Did all of Ningning, whom we like, cry?" Seeing Lu Yuning's tears, I felt bad too, so I quickly comforted her, "Ningning, don't cry, it makes me feel bad."
"What's there to cry about over a ring? We'll buy Ningning a bigger and better one in the future."
Lu Yuning gradually stopped crying, and after her emotions subsided, she felt a little embarrassed.
Lu Yuning is so pathetic. What's there to cry about? Or is she just incredibly embarrassing in front of Shen Shi?
But which girl wouldn't be moved by such a scene? She was just a little more obvious about it.
Having successfully calmed herself down, Lu Yuning asked with some confusion, "Chen Shi, are you going to propose to me? But we're already engaged!"
Shen Shi shook his head and explained sincerely, "Ningning, our engagement was decided by our parents. We were both just kids back then, and the marriage was for business interests. But now I want to set aside those identities and establish a pure marital relationship with you."

Lu Yuning looked at Shen Shi in front of her, this handsome man, the one she had fallen in love with at first sight and who was now proposing to her.
She originally thought that being able to marry him through an arranged marriage was already the greatest fortune, but she never expected that Shen Shi would actually fall in love with her. Heaven had been so kind to her.
Her heart was pounding wildly, and Lu Yuning felt that everything was as beautiful as a dream.
"I do!" Lu Yuning shouted out her answer.
Upon hearing this, Shen Shi excitedly hugged Lu Yuning and spun her around, saying, "Ningning, I promise to make you happy for the rest of your life!"
“Chen Shi, I love you so much!” Lu Yuning hugged him back.
After the proposal, Shen Shi and Lu Yuning's relationship progressed rapidly, and they entered a period of intense romance, spending every day together.
That day, Shen Shi and Lu Yuning chose a scenic spot to spend two days there, and also to celebrate their one-month anniversary of the proposal.
It's not far from the neighboring city, where there's a naturally formed lake and small hills, with beautiful natural scenery and numerous recreational facilities.
As soon as Lu Yuning arrived at the location, she pulled Chen Shi aside to take pictures of her.
"I didn't expect there to be such a beautiful place in the next city. The scenery is so beautiful, with clear waters and lush mountains. Shen Shi, you have to take some really nice pictures of me." Lu Yuning asked Shen Shi while posing for a photo.
Shen Shi gave Lu Yuning an OK sign, "Don't worry, I'm a professional photographer."
A beautiful woman stood amidst the stunning scenery. Shen Shi thought every shot looked good and took many pictures in a row. However, when he checked the preview images on his camera, he felt something was amiss.
