"This gift is too heavy. Let me choose something lighter."
Lu Yunting was taken aback by Jiang Tian's bluntness.
But he still obediently followed Jiang Tian's instructions and had the driver follow her directions to a gold shop.
Jiang Tian chose a gold bracelet.
"Can you afford this?"
Lu Yunting glanced at the price and saw it was only a little over six thousand.
He was a little unhappy: "Pick a more expensive one."
That jade bracelet was only worth two million, but she refused to accept it.
"I want this one."
To stop Lu Yunting from nagging, Jiang Tian said something to the saleswoman, told her colleague to pay, and left wearing the gold bracelet.

Lu Yunting looked up instantly: "We are not boyfriend and girlfriend."
The saleswoman maintained her standard smile: "You can buy one then. Our bracelets have a very auspicious meaning; perhaps the two of you will soon be happily married."
Lu Yunting blushed. He realized that this person thought he was pursuing Jiang Tian.
His gaze lingered on the bracelet that matched Jiang Tian's, and he paused for several seconds before finally saying, "Then... give me one just like it."
Before getting back into the car, Lu Yunting had already secretly hidden the bracelet.
Jiang Tian had been waiting for him for a while, so she casually asked, "Why did you take so long?"
Lu Yunting suppressed his guilt and was about to answer when his phone rang again.
After only a couple of sentences were exchanged, Lu Yunting frowned: "Are you sure?"
