Jiang Tian forced a smile: "No, you were very impolite just now. She is a guest."
"If you don't want to laugh, then don't laugh."
Ji Feihan should have been secretly pleased by Jiang Tian's reaction, as it was a sign that she cared about him.
But at this moment, he didn't feel that emotion; he was just afraid that Jiang Tian would be sad.
Upon hearing his words, Jiang Tian's smile vanished, and she took a deep breath: "You'd better go and explain yourself quickly."
Ji Feihan ignored her words, walked up and hugged her, easily lifting her onto the sofa and letting her sit in his lap.
"My relationship with her is all ancient history. It's been many years since that relationship, and I really have no feelings for her anymore. Don't overthink it."
Jiang Tian was still smiling: "I didn't think much of it."
"You're almost crying, are you still going to pretend?" Overwhelmed with heartache, Ji Feihan gently stroked Jiang Tian's face: "I only have you in my heart, there is no one else."
Jiang Tian remained silent for a long time, and Ji Feihan noticed that her eyes gradually turned red.
"Ji Feihan, can I trust you? Can I believe that you would choose someone as useless as me over such an outstanding girl?"
Jiang Tian's tears flowed.
Ji Feihan felt even more heartbroken. He kissed away her tears and hugged her tightly: "You're not completely useless. I know you won't believe me right now, but I'll prove it with my actions. I truly love you."
"But we are destined to be apart."
Jiang Tian looked at him with teary eyes.
Ji Feihan's heart skipped a beat: "Actually, I don't want to be separated from you at all, but you keep running away, so I can only comfort you... I want to be with you forever."
Silence again.

Lu Sihe didn't understand his intention and sent him a question mark.
Ji Feihan replied slowly, only sending a message twenty minutes later: "Jiang Tian is sleeping, don't disturb her."
Lu Sihe never expected his friend to be such a romantic, so thoughtful, completely different from his previous self.
Lu Sihe's mood soured again.
He did as Ji Feihan ordered.
When he got home, Ji Feihan gestured for him to be quiet and then indicated that he should go to the study to talk.
Once they reached the study, Ji Feihan's face turned cold: "What do you mean by this today?"
They grew up together and knew each other's personalities well. Lu Sihe's sudden invitation to Shen Qingxiao to come in was unusual.
Lu Sihe had no intention of discussing his relationship with Ji Feihan.
He had already prepared a draft on the way: "Shen Qingxiao is outstanding. You two have a foundation of affection, and your family will definitely want you to marry her. Rather than finding someone whose background you don't know, it's better to choose her. Although the Shen family is not as powerful as your family, their main business can complement your family's business."
