Chapter 8 The President's Live-in Nanny (8)

Upon hearing that it was about a blind date, Jiang Tian put down the tablecloth and couldn't help but look.

The more she looked, the paler her face became, and tears streamed down her face uncontrollably.

Ji Feihan hired a pragmatic person who thoroughly investigated the other party.

The other person seemed honest and kind, someone who could manage a household well.

That's just a facade; he hides it very well.

He's less a construction worker and more a conman.

He specifically targets older single women, getting married and divorced several times in a row. After swindling their savings, he would move on to another place and continue his scheme.

He has a good physique and a quick mind, but he can only work on construction sites because he has a low level of education. He likes to gamble with people when he has money, and he spends it all in no time.

Once he's spent all his money, he'll go and scam people again.

It's easy to imagine that if Jiang Tian really got together with him, going bankrupt would be the least of her worries.

She's been paying off the mortgage on that house for so many years; if she put it on the market, she could sell it for a good price.

Seeing that Jiang Tian was emotionally distraught, Ji Feihan made no attempt to comfort her.

If he hadn't suddenly had the idea to have someone investigate, Jiang Tian would definitely have fallen into that trap, and might even have committed suicide.

The thought of that possibility made him furious.

Jiang Tian apologized and ran into her room, closing the door behind her.

I didn't come out all night.

Ji Feihan took care of her own dinner.

He didn't care; he just wanted to see what Jiang Tian would do.

Jiang Tian asked him for leave again in the afternoon: "I want to deal with his affairs myself. I really want to marry him, but he lied to me like that."

Her eyes were swollen from crying; she looked truly heartbroken.

Her concern for that man worsened Ji Feihan's mood: "Go ahead, that kind of person will do anything when cornered. Don't get entangled with him for too long."

"good."

After Jiang Tian left, Ji Feihan was still very worried.

He cursed himself for being spineless, quickened his pace, and stopped Jiang Tian.

"Mr. Ji?"

“You can’t handle that kind of person. I’ll go with you. You’re my employee, and if your personal safety is threatened, I will take some responsibility.”

Seeing that she wanted to refuse, Ji Feihan said sternly, "If you keep being distracted by that scumbag, who will clean the villa? Since you've decided to break up with him, then cut the Gordian knot quickly. I'll be with you, and I won't say a word unless there's an unexpected situation."

Since things had come to this point, Jiang Tian had no choice but to agree.

Ji Feihan drove all the way to the man's construction site.

The man was laughing and joking with a young woman. He had thick eyebrows and big eyes, but unfortunately, his heart was rotten.

A luxury car entering the construction site naturally attracted everyone's attention.

The man was also watching, and he was surprised when he saw Jiang Tian get out of the car.

He composed himself and smiled at Jiang Tian: "Why are you here?"

It was lunchtime, and everyone gathered together to watch the excitement.

Seeing that others were watching, Jiang Tian pointed to a less crowded spot: "Let's talk over there."

The man sensed something, and his smirking expression vanished.

"good."

After they passed by, Ji Feihan got out of the car.

His appearance and demeanor were completely out of place on the construction site.

Others dared not strike up a conversation with him, so he stood there, constantly observing Jiang Tian's movements.

"I disagree!"

The man's angry roar came over, and Ji Feihan frowned and strode over.

While wiping away her tears, Jiang Tian said, "What are you still pretending for? Everyone has exposed your true colors. If I were to marry a liar like you, you would suck me dry!"

Having finally found a new ATM, the man had been dreaming of selling his house and buying a car. Now that the duck he had almost gotten was about to fly away, the veins on his forehead bulged.

Upon seeing Ji Feihan, his ferocity surged. Pointing at him, he said to Jiang Tian, "Have you found a gigolo?! Are you just going to listen to his nonsense? You know me best!"

Ji Feihan said calmly, "I have notified all the people you tricked into marriage with, and they are on their way here with their families."

The man panicked instantly, and in a flash he revealed his violent nature: "I'll kill you, you bastard!"

Ji Feihan remained calm and composed. When the man rushed towards him, he subdued him in a few moves.

However, he was careful and deliberately suffered a minor injury when the man's fist came at him.

Sure enough, he saw worry in Jiang Tian's eyes.

The man's problem was easily solved; he assaulted a stranger in public and was quickly taken to the police station.

Ji Feihan organized the collected information and sent it to the police.

This fraudster will probably spend the whole year in jail.

After dealing with this matter, the two returned home quite late.

Jiang Tian looked exhausted, and her face was somewhat pale.

Just as Ji Feihan was about to return to his room, Jiang Tian called him back: "Mr. Ji, please wait a moment, your injury needs to be treated."

Ji Feihan had a large bruise under his eye.

He said, "It's nothing, it's not a serious injury."

Jiang Tian pressed him down on the sofa, took out a first-aid kit, and used cotton swabs to apply medicine to his wounds little by little.

Ji Feihan felt her breath so close to his body, and his whole body stiffened.

As she applied the medicine, Jiang Tian's tears fell: "Thank you so much this time. I never thought he was a bad person."

If Ji Feihan hadn't reminded her, Jiang Tian would have gone down that path to the bitter end.

"It's okay, Sister Jiang. You shouldn't set your sights so low. You're too naive to be moved by scum like that."

Jiang Tian smiled bitterly: "I've wasted my life to this age, and all I wanted was to find someone to live a peaceful life with, but I didn't expect it to be so difficult."

As she spoke, tears welled up in her eyes again.
