With the boss's guidance, thankfully the fishing rod wasn't thrown out of the water.
Jiang Feifei and Xu Nian each found a spot to wait for the fish to bite.
As soon as the float moved, Jiang Feifei eagerly pulled the rod, but she was disappointed when she saw the fish she had caught.
The fish was smaller than her index finger.
"Niannian, your float is moving, pull it up quickly," Jiang Feifei reminded Xu Nian.
"I'll pull it now." Xu Nian took a few steps back and retracted the fishing line.
When she saw the fish thrashing about on the surface of the water, Jiang Feifei was even more excited than her. She abandoned her own fishing rod and ran over to help her reel in the fish.
"Wow! This fish is huge!" Jiang Feifei exclaimed, then picked up the fish and excitedly went to find the shop owner.
A moment later, Jiang Feifei came out of the shop and called out to Xu Nian, "Niannian, I'm taking the fish to the kitchen. Wait for me to come back!"
Xu Nian gave her a no-questions-asked gesture.
After rebaiting the hook, Xu Nian continued fishing in the same spot.
Seeing that no one was around, Chi Yu walked towards the fishing rod shop, bought a fishing rod and bait, and then went to the lake to fish.
Xu Nian noticed that the person had been fiddling with the fishing rod for a long time, but hadn't even cast the line yet.
Perhaps sensing her gaze, his face gradually turned red, and his usually cold and stern expression was replaced by bewilderment.
As Xu Nian watched, a strange feeling arose in her heart. Why did she feel like teasing him?
Realizing that her thoughts were wrong, Xu Nian immediately turned her face away.

Finally, he took a deep breath, tried to put on an embarrassed expression, and walked over to say, "Hello, could you teach me how to fish?"
"Sorry, I don't know how to fish either. You should ask the shop owner to teach you." Xu Nian shook her head, indicating that she really didn't know how.
She's only just started learning; asking her to teach people how to fish is misleading them.
"Oh, I see!" Chi Yu said, feeling disappointed. But he didn't leave; instead, he stood there watching Xu Nian fish.
In public places, if someone wants to stand there, Xu Nian can't ask them to leave, especially since her float was moving.
Pulling in the line, I caught a crucian carp the size of my palm.
Xu Nian threw the fish into the bucket, baited the hook, and continued fishing.
Strangely, as soon as she cast her line, the float moved, and when she pulled the line, she caught a carp.
She fished again, and caught a carp.

In just a few minutes, she caught four or five carp.
Noticing the strange look in the eyes of the man beside her, Xu Nian said awkwardly, "I really don't know how to fish."
"Hmm! You don't know how to fish." Chi Yu said, looking at the four or five carp in the fish bucket.
Xu Nian: "..."
Seriously, why don't you believe me?
Looking at the fish in the bucket, Xu Nian realized something.
If she were an outsider, she wouldn't believe it either.
“I’ll teach you.” Xu Nian repeated the shop owner’s lecture to the man.
Chi Yu was very smart; he understood as soon as she explained.
Watching him cast his line and fish, Xu Nian started chatting with him casually.
When she learned that he was Song Bo's childhood friend, Xu Nian finally remembered that she had seen him when she went to the bar last time.
No wonder she felt he looked familiar, but couldn't remember where she had seen him before.
"You're fishing here all by yourself, where's your boyfriend Song Bo?" Chi Yu's hand holding the fishing rod gradually turned white.
It's really unpleasant to remind yourself that the other person has a boyfriend at times like this.
If Song Bo hadn't existed, he could have pursued her openly and honestly.
But there's Song Bo, and she has no intention of changing boyfriends, otherwise he could have taken the opportunity to steal her away.
"He went to help me move my luggage." Xu Nianke wasn't making things up; Song Bo and Lu Sheng really did go to help her and Jiang Feifei move their luggage.
Moving luggage? The thought of staying at the resort for a few days made Chi Yu feel terrible.
Xu Nian and Song Bo are a couple, so if they stay at the villa, they'll be living together.

"Hey! A fish has taken the bait." Chi Yu's eyes lit up, and he quickly pulled the rod to reel in the fish.
When he saw the tiny two-finger-sized fish in front of him, and then looked at the fish in Xu Nian's bucket, he couldn't save face.
"This fish is too small, it's probably still a baby fish. Let's let it go home to its mother!" Awkwardly releasing the fish, Chi Yu stubbornly continued fishing with bait.
Then he caught seven or eight small fish, each about two fingers long, in a row. These fish all looked exactly the same, and Chi Yu had reason to suspect that he had caught the same small fish all at once.
"Pfft!" Xu Nian laughed unkindly.
"Niannian, did you hide a trick when you taught me how to fish?" Chi Yu called out to Niannian so naturally that Xu Nian felt it was perfectly reasonable for him to do so.
"I didn't, I swear, it was my first time fishing too." Xu Nian swore to the heavens, while Chi Yu looked dejected.
