Chapter 224 Who is the God and Who is the Madman (14)

Before Xu Nian could figure out what was going on, a large hand silently appeared at her waist, and the divine spark in her hand was snatched away by another large hand.

Teach examined the divine essence in his hand, then gently squeezed it, shattering it into powder that drifted away in the wind.

"No!" Xu Nian reached out and grabbed nothing, watching helplessly as the divine spark vanished before her eyes.

Immediately, a surge of rage rose in Xu Nian's heart.

Her million points!

It's unacceptable for him to interfere with her making money, no matter how much she likes him.

"Siska, give me back my godhood." Xu Nian's eyes were filled with furious flames, and her delicate and fragile face instantly turned cold.

Teach gave a cold laugh, his expression turning strange. He stared at the woman's angry look and sneered, "Niannian, do you really think I'm Xiska?"

"What do you mean?" Xu Nian's anger faltered, stunned by the sudden question.

Her anxious gaze swept over the face in front of her inch by inch. The familiar eyebrows, the familiar features, the familiar voice, even the small black mole at the end of the eyebrow was exactly the same.

Judging from her appearance, this was the Xisca she knew.

But no one would ask such a question for no reason.

If this person isn't Xisca, then who is he?

Why would he impersonate Sisca?

And they also did to her...

Thinking about what happened between the two in the library, Xu Nian's throat began to feel dry and bitter. Had she mistaken someone for someone else?

No, how could she possibly mistake someone for someone else?

A sense of panic welled up inside Xu Nian, but she forced herself to remain calm and asked, "If you're not Siska, then who are you?"

“Niannian, my name is Teach, I am the dark side of Sisca, and also another version of him.” Teach frowned as soon as he finished speaking.

His words made him sound like an appendage of Xisca.

"Your name is Teach? You're the other side of Sisca?" Xu Nian was speechless with shock.

No, there isn't just one male protagonist in the story?

How come there are two identical people now, one named Sisca and the other named Teach?

She remembered very clearly that the male lead's name was Siska Titch. Why had it changed like this?

What exactly went wrong?

That wretched Yuanbao, did it give me the wrong script?

Xu Nian preferred to believe that the system had malfunctioned rather than that the male lead was the problem.

“Yuanbao…!” Xu Nian subconsciously called out to the system in his mind.

The next second, she felt a sharp pain in her wrist. Teach gripped her hand tightly and said in an icy voice, "Niannian, isn't it better to stay here? Why do you keep thinking about leaving us?"

The obsessive and sinister look in Teach's eyes made Xu Nian tremble. Before she could say anything, everything went black, and she collapsed into his arms, unconscious.

"Niannian, you can't escape. I won't allow you to leave, and Xiska won't allow you to leave either." Titch murmured, then kissed the woman lightly on the lips before carrying her back to Xiska and his temple.

"Siska, stop your seclusion and come out!" Teach shouted into the empty temple, knowing that Siska could hear him.

"Teach, what's wrong now?" Xisca appeared in front of Teach and looked at him with a puzzled expression when she saw him holding Xu Nian tightly.

Teach sneered, "Sisca, do you remember that mission taker from a hundred years ago?"

The gods have excellent memories; they can recall events from a hundred years ago as if they happened yesterday.

Sisca nodded and said, "I remember, didn't you kill that mission taker?"

"Niannian is also a mission taker, but her mission is not to win us over and make us fall in love with her."

"Her mission is to find a divine spark."

“Sisca, you know, as long as she completes the mission, as the mission taker, she can leave this world, leave us.” As soon as Teach finished speaking, Sisca’s face darkened.

"Did she run out of the temple to find the god and complete a mission?" Siska was incredibly clever and immediately understood why Teach had brought her back carrying someone.

“Yes, she killed the God of War and obtained his divine status, but for reasons unknown, she did not complete the mission.” Teach had planned to keep Xu Nian behind when she submitted the mission.

He wanted to give her hope, then shatter it in front of her, so that she would never have the thought of running away again.

As it turned out, her system seemed to malfunction and did not recognize the divine authority she possessed.

“Since she wants to run away, then we have no choice but to lock her up.” Siska curled the corner of his mouth slightly, raised his hand to stroke Xu Nian’s sleeping face, his eyes filled with broken darkness.

Since she doesn't love either of them and doesn't want their love, she'll be punished by having to stay and spend the rest of her life with them.

She cannot leave as long as they live.

...

Xu Nian woke up to find herself back in a familiar place.

As soon as she sat up, she was met with two identical faces. They were both standing by the bed, giving her cryptic smiles.

"Sisca, Teach," Xu Nian greeted with an awkward smile, silently shifting her body back a little.

As soon as she moved, she felt a different sensation in her ankle.

I instinctively lifted the blanket and was stunned by what I saw.

A two-finger-wide chain had been put on her ankle at some point.

The chains were black, inlaid with mysterious golden runes, which were constantly flowing.

Xu Nian clenched her fists, her lips pressed into a straight line, and she questioned the two of them unhappily, "Sisca, Teach, are you trying to imprison me?"

She knew she was asking a pointless question; the facts were clear, the chains were already on her, and all they wanted to do was imprison her!

"Niannian, this is your own fault. Who told you to only think about leaving us after completing the mission!" Xiska's smile was gentle, but it was chilling beneath the gentleness.

"Sisca, you've misunderstood. I didn't mean to leave you. You have to believe me," Xu Nian explained anxiously to Sisca.

She didn't know what Teach had said to Xisca, but the situation was clear: Xisca believed Teach and no longer trusted her.

“The mission takers are all liars, using any means necessary to complete their so-called missions. Deception is your usual trick, Niannian, you can’t fool us.” Teach smiled sinisterly.

Those who had contact with the mission participants were more willing to trust their own judgment and what they had seen and heard.

"Teach, shut up! I haven't settled the score with you for impersonating Xisca yet!" Xu Nian yelled at Teach, then looked anxiously at Xisca.

If he's willing to believe her, things can still be salvaged.

“Niannian, I only trust Teach about this. Anyone can lie to me, but I can’t lie to myself.” Xisca could tolerate Xu Nian’s deception, but he couldn’t tolerate her wanting to escape.

She had promised him that if he saved her, she would belong to him from that day forward.

Looking back now, I realize she was just going through the motions from the very beginning.

His intentions were obvious, and she went along with it.
