She didn't know how long she ran, but the shore gradually came closer. Even though she was nearsighted, she couldn't see the man who got off the boat clearly, but she knew from his figure that it was her father.
"Dad..." A hand covered her mouth, swallowing the syllable she had just uttered. Feng Guang's eyes widened. Her struggles were useless. The man behind her used his other hand to tightly restrain her waist and led her behind a tree.
Qi Wei hugged her tightly from behind. He could feel her violent struggles, but he just held her tightly, holding her hands firmly behind her back. This force would cause her pain, but he didn't intend to let go. He lowered his head and chuckled softly in her ear, "Feng Guang... you're so disobedient."
Another gust of wind rose on the coast.
No one on the beach noticed what was happening in the woods not far away, just as no one in the woods knew what Zhang Huai and Xia Chao had said. The ship that had just arrived at the shore quickly sailed away again after Xia Chao returned to the ship.
Fengguang almost uncontrollably burst into tears. She watched the ship sail away into the distance, and in that instant, it took away all her hope. She could have left, if only she had taken one more step forward, if only she could have taken one more step forward.
Qi Wei finally released his hand from her mouth. He pinched her chin, forcing her to raise her head, and kissed away her tears from behind, saying gently, "Don't cry, I'm here with you."
"Let me go...please?" She tried to calm herself down, but her voice still broke into a sob. "Qi Wei...can't you go find someone else? I don't want to stay here...I want to go home..."
“I know Fengguang has many places she wants to go, but there are very few places I can go.” He looked at her with a smile in his eyes. “Fengguang wants to go home, so I will take Fengguang home.”
The home he spoke of was nothing more than the house used to imprison her.
"I don't want to go back with you..."
"Don't throw a tantrum. I'm thinking carefully about how to punish you, Fengguang..." he said softly, "I've spoiled you too much. Let me indulge myself a little once in a while."
She was taken back to that simple room and even roughly thrown onto the bed. Qi Wei was always a clean person, but when he saw her feet scratched by thorns and her soles covered in mud, he had no intention of washing them first.
Feng Guang felt dizzy, and she seemed to remember that she was still a patient.
Qi Weike ignored all of that. He simply took off his doctor's coat, his long, slender fingers slowly unbuttoning his white shirt. He pressed himself against her, pinched her chin, and looking at her pale face, he chuckled, "So weak..."
"Qi Wei..." she called his name weakly, "Let me go..."
"No matter what kind of noise Fengguang makes today, I don't intend to stop." His smiling eyes were filled with gloom. "Even if you cry out in pain."
She finally burst into tears; it hurt too much…
Qi Wei kissed her face from behind, and said gently, "I told you, no matter how much it hurts, I won't stop..."
As day turned to night, she gradually lost the strength to cry. She didn't remember how it ended; the high fever and pain caused her to faint.
This was not tenderness, but torture.
As another sunset and moonrise arrived, Feng Guang groggily opened her eyes, followed by a violent cough. Only one word echoed in her mind: pain.
My whole body aches.
She had only moved her body slightly, but it brought out unbearable pain. She heard the sound of chains.
This terrified her. She felt something was wrong with her body and struggled to sit up in bed. After pulling back the covers, her gaze traveled down her legs, which were covered in marks. The chains on her ankles were so conspicuous that they were impossible to ignore.
Feng Guang lay back on the bed, one arm over her eyes, and she was surprisingly calm.
"System, I request to die."
