The man asked, "Young lady, are you alright?"
"It's nothing." Feng Guang looked up and saw a handsome young man of about thirteen or fourteen, dressed in fine clothes. The young man was very polite and, given time, he would surely become a scourge to the country.
The young man's eyes lit up when he saw her face, and he said politely, "Elder Sister-in-law, don't you remember me?"
"Wait... what did you call me?"
"Elder sister-in-law, don't you remember me? I'm Xiao Shu, Baili Shu." The boy said in confusion, "I've only been away from the capital for half a year, how could you forget me?"
Baili Shu... Feng Guang dug into his memories and vaguely remembered that Fei Yu had once said that Baili Mo had a fourth brother named Baili Shu. It was said that half a year ago, the old emperor sent him to a temple to cultivate his mind and body, but unexpectedly, he has now returned to the capital.
Feng Guang looked at the boy apologetically, "I'm sorry, I was injured a while ago and forgot a lot of things."
"Your Majesty, it's alright if you forget other things, but how could you forget me!" To everyone's surprise, Baili Shu, who was originally a polite and well-mannered young man, suddenly became like a child throwing a tantrum upon hearing this. "We are such good friends! Better than anyone else! I should be the one Your Majesty should never forget!"
Feng Guang didn't know how to comfort him. In fact, she didn't really believe his claim that they had a good relationship, so she could only awkwardly say, "Well... amnesia isn't something I can control..."
"Sister-in-law, I will remind you of me! I have painted many new works recently, I will take you to see them!" After saying that, he grabbed Fengguang's hand and walked in one direction.
Feng Guang hadn't expected that this boy, despite his small size, was surprisingly strong; she couldn't break free. "Where are you taking me?"
Baili Shu said with a grin, "Let's go to my residence! It's been so long since you've visited my residence, my sister-in-law!"
Although Baili Shu was still young and had not yet been granted the title of king, he had been granted a mansion by Baili Min at a young age. His mansion was located in the most bustling part of the capital, which suited his love of excitement. Although this meant that Baili Min had eliminated this son from the list of candidates for the throne early on, it also showed that Baili Min did not dislike this child.
Baili Shu's residence was not far away; it took about five minutes to walk there.
Upon entering the mansion, he led Fengguang directly to his studio. As soon as Fengguang entered the room, she smelled a strong scent of ink and wash. When the room lights were turned on, she was stunned by the paintings on the wall.
The studio was enormous, with the walls covered in paintings, all of them nude portraits of people—men, women, children, and the elderly. Their expressions varied, but most conveyed a range of emotions, from shyness to anger, all outlined by simple black lines.
"I drew all of these!" Baili Shu said proudly, "Everyone... even my father thinks I'm not doing my job properly, but only you, my sister-in-law, agree with me. You said I draw very well!"
When Feng Guang is immersed in this world of nude paintings, she finds it hard to call it obscene, because the fluid brushstrokes, vivid colors, and perfect human lines in these paintings are breathtaking, a powerful shock.
Feng Guang asked incredulously, "You drew all of these?"
"Yes." He was like a child, his eyes lighting up as he talked about something he was interested in. "I drew all of these. You said I'm a genius, Sister-in-law!"
