Chapter 775 Han Qi's Side Story (2)

The phone appears to have fallen and hit something, and the recording stopped there.

Zhen Wei's mind went blank; she forgot to cry and was gripped by unknown panic.

Han Wei would never lie to her. If Han Qi wasn't their son... then who was he?

A storm seemed to rage in Zhen Wei's mind, and her conflicted thoughts could only stop there, because someone had come to see her.

It's Han Qi.

The son she knew best, she now dares not call herself familiar.

Han Qi slowly walked in from the doorway. His face still held the sadness of losing his father, though it wasn't very obvious. But it was this sorrow hidden behind his smile that made him seem even more serious.

Zhen Wei unconsciously placed her phone behind her back, trying to appear normal as she asked, "Why did you come here?"

He said softly, "Fengguang was worried about you, and I was very worried too, so I came to check on you today."

"I'm fine, don't worry about me." She wasn't good at lying, but her instincts told her that she couldn't let Han Qi find out about the recording. She wiped away the tears that were still wet at the corners of her eyes with her other hand, just like she had been in sadness a few days ago.

However, it's only superficially similar.

Han Qi finally walked to her side. He looked at her quietly for a long time, and finally smiled faintly. His eyes, as dark as the night, were calm, yet possessed a magic that could see through people's hearts. "You know, right?"

When he asked that question, even the sadness of losing a loved one vanished from his otherwise perfect face.

Yes, why would we need to act now?

Just as she remembered, this was her gentle son, but the chill in Zhenwei's heart was growing infinitely. It was still him, but the feeling he gave her was completely different now. A powerful sense of oppression was invading her mind... Then, she felt a headache, a severe headache.

Zhen Wei held her head and slowly squatted down on the ground. The suppressed memories burst forth. Soon, she covered her mouth, her pupils dilated with terror. She was panicking, in a state of extreme panic.

"Have you remembered?" Han Qi smiled. "Mrs. Han."

"Han Chen...you are Han Chen!" Zhen Wei shouted at him uncontrollably. She stood up and pounced on him. Her fierce appearance now resembled that of a starving wolf about to tear the hunter in front of her to shreds. Her usual skill and gentleness were gone.

Han Qi merely took a small step to the side, and Zhen Wei stumbled and fell onto the table.

"Mrs. Han, you should thank me." Beneath Han Qi's long, slightly curled eyelashes were a pair of clear eyes, clean and pure. "If I hadn't changed you, your marriage with Mr. Han would probably have already broken down. So, shouldn't you say thank you to me?"

"Thank you? Thank you for hypnotizing me and Han Wei, causing our biological son to die!?" Zhen Wei screamed, her frantic state a stark contrast to her previous gentleness.

Yes, that's just her personality. Because of her aristocratic background, she tends to view people with prejudice. She's spoiled, sharp-tongued, and has it all. Yet, she's a woman who longs for love. She doesn't like to give, but she demands that Han Wei pamper her unconditionally. Naturally, ten years ago, Han Wei had already discussed divorce with her.
