After waking up, Su Qiangwei inexplicably gained the ability to make flowers and snow fall. Her first thought was of Feng Guang. After seeing Feng Guang at school, she quickly realized that Ning Yi was behind it all, as her ability to make things fall randomly was gone. However, she didn't dare to confront Ning Yi, as the fear he instilled in her was still very clear. Even if she regained her identity as the Magic Princess, she was not confident that she could defeat Ning Yi.
So Su Qiangwei could only swallow this bitter pill, and every time she and Leng Ye were having a romantic conversation, cherry blossoms and peach blossoms would drift down, until finally watching the ambulance take Leng Ye away in shock from an allergic reaction.
Su Qiangwei always held back when she was about to glare at Feng Guang, because there was such a powerful figure behind Feng Guang.
Unlike Su Qiangwei's torment, Feng Guang lived a very comfortable life, but soon her days also gradually became chaotic.
Xue Ran, Xia Fengying, and An Tong, who had previously said they would pursue her, never came to see her again, which did make her feel relieved. However, she then encountered even more strange men: Ji Mian, a medical genius who was also a student at Mingcheng University and was giving a lecture at Imperial High School; Ou Xun, a computer science genius from Mingcheng University whom she could even meet while playing games; and even more surprisingly, she met a young man named Wen Qiong when she went to the library... She met many men, and all of them showed considerable interest in her.
Feng Guang never considered herself to be stunningly beautiful enough to make anyone fall in love at first sight, let alone now that she had given up her Mary Sue aura to Su Qiangwei. If the same thing happened once or twice, she could comfort herself by saying it was a coincidence, but if it happened too many times, then it was no longer a simple coincidence.
Feng Guang didn't dare tell Ning Yi about what she had been going through these past few days, not only because she was worried that he would be jealous, but also because a strange intuition was reminding her that she shouldn't tell Ning Yi about this. Just like these days, she would find more and more excuses to go home late, and sit alone in the ice cream shop, recalling all the men she had met in recent days. As long as she said their names, the sense of familiarity in her heart would become even stronger inexplicably.
The TV was showing Yu Shu's new drama, in which he played a regent who was a gentle and considerate man who secretly harbored feelings for the empress he had raised since childhood. This kind of plot was very appealing to women, and at least the customers sitting in this ice cream shop, including the staff, were all staring intently at the TV screen, not wanting to miss a single moment.
The plot was at a crucial moment when someone was plotting a rebellion. The villain demanded that the regent stab him before he would spare the empress's life. Feng Guang was not interested in TV dramas at first, but when she heard the male lead plunge his sword into his body without hesitation, she couldn't help but look up and stare at the screen.
The Empress screamed at the top of her lungs, "Gu Yan, you idiot!"
The man patted her head and whispered, "Your Majesty, rest assured, I will not die so easily."
Suddenly, the spoon in Feng Guang's hand fell to the ground.
After a long, long time, her vacant gaze finally focused. Without even taking her bag, Feng Guang pushed open the door and walked out of the store. Looking at the traffic on the street, her hands clenched into fists at her sides. She had made a decision, a decision to prove her guess.
She ignored the traffic and walked toward the intersection. All those cars disappeared just before they were about to hit her. Finally... she slumped down in the middle of the road, her fingernails digging into her palms and drawing blood.
"You really have some tricks up your sleeve..." Her bangs obscured her eyes, and also her despairing face. Her pale lips parted slightly, and she uttered a name she should have forgotten, "Guardian..."
