She traded bringing the ghost head home for the condition that she would no longer be harassed by other wandering ghosts. After calming down, Feng Guang suddenly had a feeling that she might have jumped into a pit.
The driver, who had been busy working on the car for a while, got back in and said apologetically, "Miss, I'm sorry, there was a problem with the engine, but it's fine now."
He nodded with an air of aloofness and said, "Let's drive."
The car started up again, and the driver didn't notice that there was actually a man sitting next to Feng Guang the whole time. She suddenly remembered that when she encountered the white-clothed female ghost, she screamed so loudly, and the driver was nearby but didn't hear the sound and came back. In other words, someone must have tampered with it.
Feng Guang glared at the man beside her, as if it were her right.
Ning Yi smiled, leaned down and gently kissed her lips. He then whispered in her ear, "Next time Feng Guang wants a kiss, you don't have to look at me with your eyes so wide open."
Feng Guang's face flushed red and then turned pale. She didn't dare to say a word, afraid that if she said something, the driver in front would think she was crazy.
After returning to the Xia family home, she immediately led Ning Yi to the empty room next to her own, saying, "You can sleep here."
Before Ning Yi could answer, she had already turned around and gone into her room, locking the door behind her before finally letting out a sigh of relief.
Talking to that man always makes it easy for her to be led by his lead. The best way is to leave before he opens his mouth. As long as he doesn't have a chance to speak, he won't have a chance to waver.
Feng Guang huddled in the corner of the bed, seriously considering something. She wanted to win over Ning Yi, not Ning Yi. Initially, she had the wrong target because she didn't know that this Ning Yi was not the same as that Ning Yi. It was understandable that she was wrong. Fortunately, she hadn't gotten too close to Ning Yi yet, otherwise it would have been very awkward.
But now she has an even more awkward situation: she suddenly discovered that her target is her ghost marriage partner, and this ghost marriage partner seems to like her quite a bit. What should she do? She really never wanted to date a non-human!
Her furrowed brows looked so tight they could trap a mosquito. Suddenly, a gust of cold air blew past her ear. When she looked up, she saw Ning Yi's face right in front of her.
He asked with a smile, "What are you thinking about? You seem so engrossed."
"I miss you." After honestly answering that question, she wanted to smear it all over her face.
“I was just thinking about being in the spotlight too.” His kiss landed on the corner of her eye and on her face. “People say that newlyweds are the most clingy, and it seems that’s true.”
Just as his lips were about to touch hers, she reacted quickly by covering her mouth. So he kissed the back of her hand instead, his eyes crinkling with a smile. He then leaned down and kissed her fair neck, gently sucking on her white skin, leaving marks that made her blush and her heart race.
Feng Guang didn't mean to resist, but he had already grabbed her hand and pinned her down on the bed. She didn't give up hope and asked, "Didn't I... say the room next door was yours?"
"Since we're husband and wife, we should naturally share a bed." He chuckled softly, captivating her. Not letting her off so easily, he moved his lips slightly, leaving another mark on her neck.
Feng Guang's heart was pounding, and she could feel the tenderness in his touch. This caused an even stronger throbbing in her body.
