When Feng Guang woke up, it was already dark. She looked at the dimly lit room and was momentarily confused. Soon, she came to her senses. She had been knocked unconscious and captured by You Ji. Her first instinct was to check if her clothes were intact. Fortunately, her clothes were not disheveled, which made her feel relieved.
Suddenly, she realized something and rummaged through her pockets. Her phone was gone. The travel writer must have taken it to prevent her from contacting the Guardian.
Feng Guang got out of bed and walked to the door. She tentatively reached out and placed her hand on the doorknob, but the doorknob suddenly turned by itself. She took a step back warily, and the door opened from the outside, revealing a figure slowly appearing before her.
When she finally saw the man clearly, she lost her composure.
He smiled and said softly, "Little girl, have you missed me?"
"You are...Guardian's projection." She took another step back, looking around in bewilderment. "Guardian, turn off the projection! I told you, I'll get angry if you do that again!"
“The scenery is beautiful.” Xia Fengying stepped forward and took her hand. “Look, I have warmth.”
Feng Guang trembled. She felt it; he could hold her hand and feel the warmth of his hand. She murmured in disbelief, "Brother?"
Her guard had not completely disappeared.
Xia Fengying smiled and took out a withered foxtail grass. "Didn't Fengguang keep saying that he would give this to you when I woke up?"
This is a secret between the two of them.
"Brother!" She jumped up and hugged him, clinging to him like a koala. He cooperated by supporting her hips with one hand and gently stroking her back with the other. She almost cried with joy as she said, "You're alive...you're back with me..."
"Yes, I'm back by Fengguang's side." He lowered his head and gently kissed her cheek. "Fengguang has been waiting for me for a year, and I really can't bear to make her wait any longer."
“Everyone says… says you’re not coming back…” she sobbed softly, “but I’m the only one who believes you will come back…”
“I know that only Fengguang is waiting for me to come back, so… I’m back now.” He hugged her and sat her back on the bed, reached out to wipe away the tears from the corners of her eyes, and then lowered his head to kiss her lips. “It’s all over now, I’m back.”
His scent, his gentle tone... it really was him.
Feng Guang reached out and wrapped her arms tightly around his neck, burying her head in his chest, and asked cautiously, "You won't leave again... right?"
"Even if the glory drives me away, I will not leave." He smiled and stroked her head, his eyes filled with tenderness.
Because of his assurance, she did not feel at ease at this moment, but rather felt a greater sense of fear. Perhaps it was because what she had lost and then regained was so precious, or perhaps she had not yet adapted to the days of losing him.
This feeling of confusion almost made her itch with desire.
"Oh, right, brother, I was arrested by the travel writer!" She suddenly remembered this. "I suspect he wants to use me to threaten Dad. I have to go see Dad as soon as possible."
"Okay, I'll take you there." He took her hand, stood up, and walked outside. The whole way was very quiet.
