Herman gently massaged her aching waist with his hand under the thin blanket, and promised, "I won't let you get this tired again."
Feng Guang wanted to believe him, but seeing the lustful look in his eyes, she harbored doubts deep down. She had chosen this man, and even his stamina was undeniable; she had to accept it. But she still worried about something else: "Eve and the others must have already returned to the Holy See..."
If Eve can't find her, she'll definitely become suspicious.
Herman simply said, "Don't worry."
"Don't worry...don't worry..." She bit the skin on his chest. "When are you going to explain yourself to me clearly?"
Herman didn't cry out in pain; in fact, he even stroked her head, letting her bite him as she pleased. This time, he finally didn't repeat the words that had angered her: "Richard's horse won't stop until it reaches the Andes Mountains."
The Andes Mountains are a good six or seven hours away...
"So it really was you behind this!" Feng Guang, still a little excited, regained some of her strength and gave him a rewarding kiss on the cheek. "Well done!"
She had long disliked Richard, but if he could give her more time to spend with Herman, she would be able to somewhat forgive him.
Herman raised his hand, his fingertips gently tracing the red mark he had left on her collarbone. His eyes darkened; he was about to make another move.
Alarm bells were ringing in Feng Guang's mind, "Hermann, I'm really tired!"
Hermann paused, then put his hand down and instead put his arm around her waist, seemingly letting out a soft sigh.
This was the first time Feng Guang had heard him sigh, and she never expected that he would sigh for this reason. She was speechless for a moment before saying, "For the sake of our health, I think we should be more moderate."
Herman looked at her without saying anything, which clearly showed his displeasure, even though it wasn't very obvious from his expression.
Fengguang: "..."
It seems she did something very inhumane?
Well… Fengguang leaned against him again, as if giving up, and sighed deeply, “Hermann, whatever makes you happy.”
Immediately, her chin was lifted and her lips were sealed with a passionate French kiss.
See? She's such a soft-hearted person, especially when it comes to her man.
Of course, one cannot stay in bed forever. Fengguang only needed to raise her hand, and Herman helped her get dressed. By the time he carried her out of bed, it was already dusk outside the window.
Feng Guang leaned against Herman's chest, raised her hand, and gently lifted his collar, revealing the red marks on his neck where she had scratched him. "Herman, does it hurt?"
She was ruthless when she grabbed it, but now she's feeling sorry for it.
Herman held her hand, shook his head, and said, "It won't hurt. Even if Wendy were to stab me with a knife, it wouldn't hurt."
Fengguang chose not to answer such a bloody question.
"Wendy likes Angel Spring, would you like to go for a walk there?" Angel Spring was a place Feng Guang loved to go when she was little. Herman always knew that this little girl would choose to hide there after she finished praying.
It had been a long time since he had been there. Feng Guang thought for a moment and then nodded, "Okay."
Angel Spring remains unchanged, without the slightest alteration from ten years ago.
Fengguang held Herman's hand and pointed to the steps of the fountain, saying, "I used to love sitting on it and daydreaming."
"I know."
You know?
Herman held her hand and gently stroked it. "This is the sacred ground of the Holy See. I know Wendy likes to come here."
Because of her status as a princess and the fact that she was just a young girl who couldn't cause any trouble, Herman had never paid any attention to her. As it turned out, he was careless. It was this young girl who caused a death row inmate to disappear without a trace.
Feng Guang thought that since he was the bishop, it was only natural that he would know. She then hugged his waist with a grin and leaned against him, "Hermann, if I hadn't made a mistake that day, would you not have paid so much attention to me?"
“Of course.” Herman gently stroked her long hair, his eyes sparkling as if a smile was about to appear, or perhaps it was just an illusion.
Feng Guang grabbed his hand and pressed it against her cheek. "So, will you still blame me now?"
“No.” He kissed the corner of her lips. “There’s no one worth getting angry with Wendy for.”
Everyone else was insignificant in her presence.
Suddenly, the sound of splashing water came from the side.
The couple, lost in their sweet romance, looked over and saw a little girl with red hair floating on the surface of the fountain. Clearly, she had witnessed Feng Guang and Herman's intimate moment. The girl blushed slightly, and in a flustered panic, she covered her mouth, awkwardly saying, "I'm sorry...did I disturb you?"
Isn't that obvious?!
