Werewolves are extremely fast runners; at least, if a vampire doesn't possess a talent for speed, no vampire can outrun a werewolf.
Feng Guang listened to the whistling wind in her ears, and the jolting on the wolf's back almost made her vomit. She gripped the wolf's fur tightly and managed to sit up on its back. She glanced at the rapidly changing environment around her and knew that in just a few dozen seconds, she had already left the area of Osiris School.
"Miss Xia, I advise you not to think about jumping out of the car. You'll fall and get hurt badly at this speed," the werewolf carrying her said. It was a man's voice.
Another cheerful male voice rang out, "Yes, yes, sit still and don't jump off the train, or your face will be ruined."
The swift wind tousled Feng Guang's hair as she gritted her teeth and asked, "Are you people from Night Mist?"
"Yes!" the energetic voice said. "My name is Ye Yu, and the person carrying you is Ye Xue. We've come to take you back to be the clan chief's wife!"
Feng Guang's eyes twitched. "I've already made things clear with Ye Wu! I'm not interested in him. Besides, he's a werewolf, and I'm a vampire. He must be crazy to want to be with me. How can you, as his people, let him do whatever he wants!"
"There's nothing I can do." Ye Xue seemed to be a taciturn werewolf, and it was this werewolf named Ye Yu who spoke up. Feng Guang's action was like jumping off a speeding car. She rolled several times on the ground, hitting many branches and rocks along the way. Finally, she rolled down the hillside and stopped when she hit a tree. Unfortunately, her stomach hit the tree trunk. Due to the impact, she coughed up blood and had no strength left to move.
She wasn't worried about dying, because vampires were very resilient; as long as their hearts weren't pierced and their souls destroyed, they wouldn't die. It was just... she was in a lot of pain right now.
No matter what you say, she will not marry that werewolf!
Feng Guang raised her scraped hand to wipe the blood from the corner of her mouth, and struggled to stand up, leaning against a tree. Her whole body ached, including her face.
