"A lingering ghost is used to describe a dead person," Yu Kun said pitifully. "My beauty, I'm a perfectly healthy person."
Feng Guang's lips twitched. "Then you should just die!"
"If I die, how can there be a scene of a beauty saving a playboy?" Yu Kun was truly shameless, and the kind that wouldn't budge an inch.
Feng Guang glanced at him and said, "You're soaking wet. Don't you feel uncomfortable?"
"With a beautiful woman by my side, what's there to be uncomfortable about?"
"you!"
"Careful." He grabbed her wrist, stopping her in her tracks.
Feng Guang turned around and saw a dilapidated wall in front of her. She hadn't been watching where she was going, and if Yu Kun hadn't pulled her back, she would have crashed into the wall.
Yu Kun raised his hand again and lightly flicked her forehead. "See? Carelessness is a very dangerous thing."
"I can see it myself without you pulling me," she said stubbornly, though she was actually feeling incredibly guilty.
Yu Kun didn't call her out on her stubbornness, but just laughed and said, "Alright, alright, I was just being nosy."
Feng Guang inexplicably felt that she was being childish. She turned her head away from him, deciding to avoid seeing him altogether. But when she saw the dilapidated temple in her field of vision, she wondered, "There was a flood here, and all the flowers and plants were submerged. How come this temple, apart from being a bit broken, looks like it hasn't been wet at all?"
“Perhaps we can go in and take a look,” Yu Kun suggested earnestly.
Although Feng Guang disapproved of Yu Kun, she did not object to his suggestion. She walked into the dilapidated temple with Yu Kun, and all she saw was a scene of ruin.
Feng Guang looked at the clay statue in the center of the hall, blinked, and said doubtfully, "This statue... seems to be a female bodhisattva?"
"She's wearing a skirt, so of course she's a woman, right?"
The clay sculpture looks very old, so the face is somewhat damaged and incomplete. We can only guess from her clothing that it is a female bodhisattva.
Feng Guang then noticed the plaque on the clay statue and read it in a crooked voice, "Fisherwoman Temple?"
“It’s Yu Ru Temple,” Yu Kun corrected.
Feng Guang regained his composure, saying, "I made a mistake because the word was unclear."
“That’s right, it’s all because the characters on this plaque are unclear,” Yu Kun agreed.
Feng Guang glanced at him with surprise, wondering if his temper had improved somewhat. But she didn't care about that question and instead asked, "Is this a fisherwoman worshipped here?"
“Judging from her attire, she doesn’t seem to be a fisherwoman,” Yu Kun said. “She is dressed in a blue and white shirt with a wooden plaque hanging from her waist. Although the style is not clear, her outfit makes her look like a female disciple of Wuwangtian.”
"Then they must be from the immortal sects?" Feng Guang shook his head again. "No, how do you know so much?"
"You're all going to Wuwang Heaven to become disciples and learn skills, how could you not know such a little bit of information?" He opened his fan again and said in a dashing manner, "If the sect's clothes are too ugly, they are not worthy of my handsome appearance."
Feng Guang scoffed, "You just fell into the water, why didn't you drop your fan?"
Although the weather wasn't cold, his clothes were still wet, and the breeze from the fan would have brought a chill to his body, but he remained composed and elegant.
"The fan is a symbol of a business, so it can't be lost," Yu Kun said righteously, as if it were the truth.
