After a long pause, Feng Guang finally replied, "I don't know."
This wasn't exactly a definite answer, but Han Chen smiled. He withdrew his gaze from her and quietly looked ahead. "You didn't choose to lie to me. At least that gives me some comfort."
His calm voice betrayed no emotion.
"Han Chen..."
“Miss Xia.” Han Chen interrupted her, his eyes crinkling into a smile, but he said coldly, “Stop your sympathy. After all… things haven’t reached the final stage yet.”
Feng Guang remained silent. At this moment, saying anything more would be superfluous. No matter how she tried to comfort her or how indifferent she seemed, it would only be a waste of breath.
Then, the atmosphere between the two of them became quiet.
Meanwhile, not far away, another scene was unfolding.
Gu Lan grabbed a boy by the collar, warning him something. He seemed to be in a very bad mood, exuding an aura that kept strangers at bay. The only people who dared to stand beside him, besides the boy he was grabbing, were Mu Jin, who was still unaware of the situation.
"Trying to bump into me and start a conversation? You brat, can't you see me standing here?" Gu Lan glared fiercely at the boy whose collar he was grabbing, his tone extremely harsh.

Han Chen stroked his chin, smiled, and looked at the scenery. "Aren't you going to join the fun?"
Although he could tell that Feng Guang had no feelings for Gu Lan, Gu Lan was currently her fiancé, and Gu Lan's concern for another woman would inevitably damage Feng Guang's reputation.

"I can't control you, so... are you going to do what you want to do to this boy?" Feng Guang crossed her arms and smiled sweetly.
Upon closer examination, there was nothing wrong with the statement itself, but upon careful listening, something just didn't seem right. Gu Lan twitched her lips. "Xia Fengguang, what are you saying?"
"What I'm saying is just a reasonable guess that your actions have given me." Feng Guang said slowly, then looked at the boy who had been quiet the whole time, and smiled, "Young Master Gu just arrested him like that, don't you want to hear what he has to say?"
"He deliberately bumped into Mulan, that bookworm. Was it not because he wanted to get close to her, or what? Is it really necessary to ask such an obvious question?"
"Of course it's necessary. Maybe they want to get close to you, not Mulan?"
