The thief was initially intimidated by the man's calm yet noble and elegant demeanor, but upon seeing that he was in a wheelchair, the thief laughed, "Who are you, young master? Tong County is a small place, and I have never heard of you."
"I am just an ordinary citizen, I have no title."
"Is that so?" The thief arrogantly pulled on the rope binding the girl, walked over and sat down. He picked up his teacup, took a sip with feigned elegance, and said, "It's a good cup of tea."
He wasn't worried about someone putting drugs in his tea, because after so many years of traveling the martial arts world, he would be able to taste them.
The young man in white glanced at the girl whose hands were bound and casually said, "Your actions seem rather inappropriate."
"What's wrong with that? Are you showing mercy to a beautiful woman?" The thief chuckled wickedly. "She's my spoils of war, and I have the right to treat her however I want. But... tsk tsk, she does have a face that makes people want to pity her."
Feng Guang turned her face away to avoid his groping hand, and said fiercely, "Try touching me!"
"Oh? What's wrong with trying? You think you can threaten me?" The thief stood up, quite interested in this little firecracker.
Feng Guang snorted, "Do you even know who this young man in white is to me?"
The thief glanced at the man in white, who also put down his teacup and looked at her, seemingly waiting for her answer.
So the master thief asked, "What is he to you?"
He is my fiancé.
“Miss Xia, are you joking?” The thief laughed first. “I’ve done my research. Your fiancé’s name is Yang Jie, and he’s a coroner.”
“Then you should know that Yang Jie doesn’t like me, and I don’t like him either,” Feng Guang said. “We’re going to break off our engagement soon, and I’m going to marry this man.”
The thief was stunned for a moment by her bold words. "What, you've fallen in love with him at first sight? Although he's good-looking, he's disabled..."
"Don't think of me as so old-fashioned. Love at first sight is based on looks. Many years ago, a fortune teller said that I would fall in love at the age of sixteen, and I have been waiting for him for sixteen years."
The thief was speechless. Her reason was less convincing than love at first sight.
"You'll save me, right?" Feng Guang winked at the white-robed young man who had remained silent the whole time. "You're my future husband. If you don't save me, you'll lose a wife."
"It seems the young lady has no evidence to prove..." The young master paused for a moment, then smiled and said, "You are my future wife."
Suddenly, she bent down and kissed his lips with unexpected speed. He paused when he felt something soft covering his lips.
She chuckled and said, "Look, besides husband and wife, who else would do something like this?"
Her smug look makes her look exactly like a female hooligan.
Her actions were so sudden, and since she didn't know martial arts and was so weak that she could be killed with a single slap, no one was on guard against her. But unexpectedly, she took advantage of the situation.
Even the master thief holding the rope was caught off guard. After a while, he came to his senses and realized that he hadn't expected to steal from such a wild and unrestrained woman. He tugged at the rope, "You really think she'd listen to your nonsense..."
“What this young lady says makes a lot of sense.” The young master smiled slightly, successfully interrupting the thief.
