The black cat meowed again.
"Hey, can't I?"
"Meow..." The cat took a few more steps closer and licked her hand with the tip of its tongue.
A lazy voice suddenly came from behind the glamorous facade, "Can you understand what Xiao Hei is saying?"
It turns out this cat's name is Xiao Hei.
"How could I possibly understand a cat?" Feng Guang turned around listlessly and saw a long-haired man.
His long, black hair was loosely tied to one side and draped lightly over his left shoulder. The long scarf he wore loosely didn't seem to mind the heat. The top button of his shirt was undone, revealing his delicate collarbone. His outermost coat was a pristine white doctor's uniform.
The man looked to be about twenty-seven or twenty-eight years old, exuding a lazy and unserious vibe. At that moment, he was looking at the scenery with a languid gaze. "I heard you talking to Xiao Hei."
“Yes, I’m talking to it.” Feng Guang tilted his head and blinked. “But is there a rule that says I have to understand what it’s saying just because I’m talking to it?”
Her tone was as if to say, "How could I possibly understand animal language? Are you stupid?"
The man thought for a moment and agreed with her. He squatted down like her, rested his chin on one hand, and said casually, "I haven't seen you before. You're a new student."
"This school has thousands of students, can you remember them all?"
He replied, "I can't remember."
"How did you know I was new here?"
The man slowly revealed a captivating smile, "You have a scent I've never smelled before."
"Oh... you recognize people by their scent." Feng Guang calmly retorted, then suddenly remembered something, slumped to the ground, and quickly took several steps back. She exclaimed in horror, "Are you a werewolf?"
"A werewolf?" The man blinked innocently, and the black cat walked to his feet and meowed softly, which only made him look more innocent.
Feng Guang stammered, "You...you...you're not a werewolf?"
“This is a school for humans and vampires, there won’t be any werewolves.” The man’s voice was tinged with curiosity. “In my memory… although vampires and werewolves are natural enemies, vampires are noble creatures, and they never show any fear of werewolves.”
"That's because you don't know how...how...rough are werewolves." Feng Guang seemed to recall some unpleasant memories, and goosebumps rose on her body, making her feel uncomfortable all over.
The man squinted at her for a moment, then nodded knowingly. "So you were once pursued madly by a werewolf."
"Hey... how did you know?"
He smiled, moved a little closer to her, and extended his right index finger, touching her chest. "I can hear your heart speaking."
Her eyes twitched, and she finally slapped his hand away. "These are my breasts!"
"Ah...sorry." He was already unkempt, and after casually scratching his hair, he looked even more disheveled. "Your body is all flat...I forgot that this is a girl's chest."
Feng Guang felt she had been insulted beyond measure, and she shouted, "Who are you? How do you know I was harassed by a heartless werewolf?"
"Well... let me introduce myself." The man gave a smile, looking unusually serious at this moment. "My name is Ming An. I am the principal of this school and also the school doctor in the infirmary. By the way, your father and I were classmates."
