After entering university, Ji Mian rarely returned to the Xia family mansion. He seemed very busy, whether with his studies or his experiments. It was clear that he wouldn't come back for the New Year, even during the winter break. However, after Ji You's loud pleas and cries, he couldn't resist and came back for a visit.
This winter, a heavy snowfall blanketed the city in white, turning every corner into a playground for children. However, it presented a challenge for adults planning long trips.
Ji Mian got out of the driver's car and looked at the Xia family mansion covered in silver. Apart from the white color of the snow, it was no different from what he remembered. He saw Ji You building a snowman in the courtyard.
Ji You stood alone in the snow, playing happily with the snowflakes. When she saw a shadow in front of her, she looked up and saw her beloved brother. She immediately jumped up excitedly, "Brother! You're back!"
Ji You caught her as she lunged at her. "Little You seems to have grown taller again."
"Of course! You haven't seen me for half a year!"
Ji Mian stroked her head, "Why are you all alone? Isn't Feng Guang supposed to play with you?"

Ji Mian and Ji You looked around together and finally saw a moving snowman under a tree. Upon closer inspection, it was not a snowman at all, but a girl wearing a white cotton-padded coat who had fallen in the snow. Because she was wearing so many layers, she couldn't get up for a long time.
Ji Mian found her repeated attempts to get up ridiculously comical and pitiful. He took a rare moment of kindness and went over to her, placing his hands under her armpits and lifting her up. A lot of snow fell off her heavy clothes.
After struggling for so long, Feng Guang was lifted up and felt completely relaxed. She breathed a sigh of relief, realizing how exhausted she had been.
The man who lifted her up from behind chuckled softly.
She wanted to turn around, but the large hat blocked her view. So she simply raised her gloved hand and took off the hat. Her hair was a little messy. When she saw the person behind her, she was stunned for a second. "Brother...you seem to have become even more handsome."
The tall, thin young man gently placed her on the ground, reached out and wiped away the tiny water droplets formed from melting snow from her long eyelashes. "The scenery is getting more and more glamorous."
"Nonsense!" she snapped. "That's because I wore lots of clothes, that's why I didn't gain weight!"
No woman wants to hear that she has gained weight.
Ji Mian patted her head and said with a smile, "You're such a little snowball."
She was wearing so many clothes that she was practically wrapped up like a ball.
"That's because I'm afraid of the cold!"
"If you're afraid of the cold, why did you come out?"
"That's because Xiaoyou wanted to go out and play. I promised you I would take good care of her, so I came out with her..."
Ji Mian paused, her hand on Ji Mian's head. "Is that the reason?"
"Yes, I always keep my promises, but..."
Seeing her troubled expression again, Ji Mian asked, "But what is it?"
“I’ve given you all my savings, I don’t have any money left to support you.”
The dark light in Ji Mian's eyes stopped flowing. After a moment, he said with a normal expression, "It's okay. I can support myself now, so this doesn't count as Feng Guang breaking the agreement."
