"I know."
She deliberately asked him, "What do you know?"
“I know Feng Guang likes me.” An Tong’s voice sounded soft and gentle. “I like Feng Guang too.”
"Oh, do you have to be so mushy?" She rolled over and buried her face in the blanket.
An Tong teased her on purpose, "Don't you like it when I say these things?"
"I like it." She answered quickly, feeling both shy and incredibly happy.
"Then I'll tell you everything from now on, okay?"
She obediently replied, "Okay."
They chatted for an hour about this kind of conversation that didn't really have any real meaning. This is probably a common problem that couples in love often make, and even An Tong couldn't avoid it.
Finally, because it was too late, they had to say goodbye with a "goodnight." Feng Guang still didn't tell An Tong that Li Bi had come. Telling An Tong wouldn't help anyway, so she might as well figure it out herself.
Meanwhile, after the lights in the scenic room were turned off, An Tong drew the curtains. In the dimly lit room, only a small lamp illuminated the telescope quietly placed by the window, its lens pointed at the pink room on the second floor of the Xia family's house.
