Chapter 1091 Conquering the Doctors at the Mental Hospital

Qi Wei narrowed his eyes slightly and chuckled softly, "So, Miss Xia, would you like to eat?"

"I...eat." Feng Guang gritted his teeth, picked up his chopsticks, and looked like a hero wringing his hands in despair, as if the food on the plate was not a carrot but some kind of monster.

Ten minutes later...

Qi Wei finally gave in. He pushed his food in front of her and said helplessly, "You can eat mine."

She would spend three minutes chewing a shredded carrot, and each time she chewed, she would frown and feel nauseous. He felt like he was a wicked person who did all sorts of evil.

Feng Guang struggled to swallow the carrot in her mouth, then looked at him with surprise, "You're not going to force me to eat carrots anymore?"

“If I were to force you to eat, you would already be tied up by someone else, and I would just take a plate and pour the carrots into your mouth.”

Thinking of that scene, her face paled. "Then I really thank you for not tying me up..."

"The cafeteria will close in ten minutes..."

“I can finish it!” She pushed the plate of carrots aside, picked up her chopsticks and reached for the plate he handed her. When she tasted the first bite of meat, she was so happy she almost cried. “It’s so wonderful… Dr. Qi, you are such a great person.”

The great Dr. Qi sighed resignedly and began to eat the plate of carrots.

About five minutes later, she had quickly finished eating, elegantly took out a tissue from her bag to wipe her mouth, and smiled slightly like a reserved young lady, saying, "Thank you so much for the treat."

“Miss Xia…” Qi Wei looked at her and saw that she had only finished eating the meat, but hadn’t touched the vegetables at all. He raised an eyebrow and said, “It seems that I underestimated you. You’re not just a picky eater, but you reject all vegetables.”

"No, I do eat vegetables sometimes... but..." she blinked, "but the vegetables you gave me today are ones I don't like."

"I now seriously doubt how you grew up healthy?"

"I can take vitamin pills!" she said proudly. "Vitamin pills are easier to take than vegetables."

As a doctor, Qi Wei rarely found himself at a loss for words when it came to how to evaluate the situation.

Feng Guang looked around and saw that everyone had left. She turned back and asked, "Doctor, have you finished eating? The cafeteria is about to close."

"Let's go." Qi Wei stood up. "I'll take you to the dormitory."

"Okay." She nodded, stood up, and obediently followed behind him.

The hospital staff dormitory is some distance from the inpatient ward; you have to walk through at least a dark grove of trees to get there.

Qi Wei said, "This road used to have streetlights, but they use the same power system as the third and fourth floors of the hospital, so there are no lights now."

Fortunately, the moon has now come out, and its white light illuminates the path ahead.

Seeing the road clearly through the scenery, she followed behind him and asked, "There's no internet here, aren't you bored?"

"I have many patients whose conditions need to be treated, so I don't think I have time to feel bored."

That does sound like something he would say.

Just as Feng Guang was thinking that she didn't have any professional sense of being a doctor and that she would be bored, she looked up and was suddenly startled to see a woman in a white nurse's uniform rush out in front of her. She took a step back in fright and almost screamed.

"Don't be afraid," Qi Wei said gently as he turned around. "These are nurses from our hospital."

"I'm sorry, I startled you..." The nurse was pretty and looked at Feng Guang apologetically. "Hello, Miss, I'm Jin Guoguo, a nurse here."
