Chapter 1742 Conquering the Dark Wizard

Scenery: "Eve".

Eve obeyed the order, went over and knelt down to take a look. After a moment, she turned back and said, "Your Highness, it's a drowning man. He's still alive, but he's unconscious."

Feng Guang walked over and saw the man lying on the ground. The man was wearing clothes made of very expensive fabric. He was a handsome young nobleman. Wait... a young nobleman?

As time went by, Feng Guang almost forgot that she was in the fairy tale "The Little Mermaid." She hadn't forgotten that she was the princess of the neighboring country who had saved the prince. In other words, the noble young man lying in front of her now was very likely the prince!

Feng Guang immediately took a few steps back, as if the man on the ground was a monstrous beast. "Eve, ignore him, let's go!"

"Yes, Your Highness." Eve was the princess's attendant, not someone from a charity. Since His Highness hadn't given any orders to rescue people, she had no reason to meddle.

Feng Guang had just turned around when he saw another black figure. It was Herman, who was looking at him but still didn't say anything.

She paused, then suddenly remembered that although Herman seemed cold and ruthless, he was actually a kind person with the great wish to restore the demons to normal people.

Oh no... Will he think I'm heartless for not helping someone in distress?

Feng Guang coughed awkwardly twice, then said to Eve, "Eve, life is a sacred thing. How can we just stand by and watch him die? Take him back and we'll find a doctor to examine him."

"Yes, Your Highness." Eve didn't ask why Feng Guang's reaction was so different before and after. She turned back and walked back to the unconscious man's side.

Feng Guang put on a polite smile and looked at Herman. "The Vatican has taught people that when someone is in trouble, we should lend a helping hand. Your Excellency, please don't praise me too much. This is what I should do."

Herman had nothing to say. He stepped forward and stared at the person until they felt their scalp tingle before finally speaking, "Your Highness."

"Hmm?" Feng Guang answered lazily, just waiting for him to praise her.

"The Vatican has never taught you to save a man."

Feng Guang was taken aback. She looked at Herman, puzzled, "Does saving someone have to be based on gender?"

“No,” Hermann said in a calm voice, “it’s just that the princess can only save the old, weak, sick and disabled.”

"What do you mean?" Feng Guang frowned, looking like she was about to get angry again. "Are you saying that my skills are only good for saving the old, weak, sick, and disabled?"

"I just thought that Her Highness wouldn't be interested in old, weak, sick, or disabled men."

"Are you worried that I'll fall for the man I saved?" Feng Guang said angrily. "I know the rules, okay? I'm the princess of the Xia Kingdom and its sole heir. I can't just fall for any man. Don't think I'm still naive and immature. I'm not the reckless little girl who caused trouble ten years ago. Your Excellency, you should focus more on the saintess you've chosen, instead of constantly watching what mistakes I might make!"

She had originally planned to ignore the young man who had fallen into the water. If it weren't for the fear of appearing cold and heartless in Herman's eyes, she would have left long ago!

Herman lowered his gaze slightly, looking at the girl who only reached his chest. He seemed to smile slightly, or perhaps it was just his imagination: "Your Highness is angry with me because of the Holy Maiden."
