"What are you doing?" A man's voice came from behind.
Qu Lingyuan looked at him, her narrow eyes full of disdain: "Why are you here again?"
Shu Jin just found it funny, sat down next to her and said, "You don't even call me Master anymore?"
With a light snort, Qu Lingyuan turned her head away and refused to look at him.
A timid figure slipped in from the theater entrance. After glancing around the theater, she turned her gaze to the corridor on the second floor and her eyes lit up.
Chu Xiaoer?
Qu Lingyuan lowered her lips and watched her walk towards the second floor, her good mood gone.
"Mr. Jin! You...you must not believe the rumors outside." Chu Xiaoer asked the servants to watch outside the theater door. When she knew Shu Jin was coming, she hurried over to explain to him.
Shu Jin took Qu Lingyuan's hand from the table, fiddled with it on his lap, and said nonchalantly, "What rumors?"
He was really fed up with Chu Xiaoer, and it would be better to let her give up as soon as possible.
Chu Xiaoer never expected that Shu Jin didn't know about this yet. She hesitated for a long time and couldn't say anything.
"You guys chat, I'm going back to the room first." Qu Lingyuan rolled her eyes quietly, pulled her fingers back, and wanted to leave limping.
The toy ran away, and Shujin lost even more patience with Chu Xiaoer.
"Let's go if you're alright," he stood up from the chair and hugged the little cripple into his arms, "There's no point in showing off if your foot isn't healed yet."
Qu Lingyuan let him carry her back to the house. Seeing Chu Xiaoer stomping her feet in anger behind her, she felt secretly happy.
Chu Xiaoer's explanation was not clear, and Shu Jin showed off her face. It was so frustrating that it could not be described with just one word.
