Wei Meng chose the place for dinner, a Japanese restaurant not far from the hospital.
She sat on Bai Zisu's left, while Qu Lingyuan chose to sit opposite Wei Meng. Both were seats on the outermost side.
"What would you like to drink?" Bai Zisu handed the menus to everyone one by one.
"I'd like some oolong tea to help relieve the greasiness." Wei Meng looked at the menu with a sweet smile.
The others had rarely been to Japanese restaurants, so they basically ordered oolong tea.
Qu Lingyuan didn't even glance at the menu: "Plum Bar at Mei Noi Suku."
"Oh, I like this drink too," Bai Zisu looked very happy. "Do you like drinking?"
"Yes, it might be genetic. I'm a bit of a wine lover, and I often drink with my dad at home," Qu Lingyuan said rather embarrassedly, "I always feel like he's raising me like a boy."
"You and your dad have such a good relationship."
"Yeah, my dad doesn't talk to me much."
"Alas, it's good that my father doesn't beat me."
My colleagues started to express their feelings because of this sentence.
Qu Lingyuan became the center of the conversation, which made Wei Meng feel unhappy. She immediately put on a sad face and acted pitiful: "My father doesn't come home, so there's no one to accompany me..."
After saying that, she glanced at Bai Zisu, expecting him to say something.
Just as Bai Zisu was about to speak, Qu Lingyuan spoke up nonchalantly, "That's not good. You need to ask your mother to keep an eye on him."
Wei Meng's eyes widened in anger. What did this person mean? Was he implying that her father was having an affair?
A few people who had long disliked Wei Meng cleverly took up the conversation when they heard Qu Lingyuan say this.
"Come to think of it, I seemed to have seen President Wei sitting with a woman in a coffee shop a few days ago." The female colleague looked at Wei Meng with regret.
Who doesn't know how to spread rumors? She was more than happy to make the delicate and pretentious Wei Meng feel uncomfortable.
Another female colleague played along: "Yeah, but most rich men are like that. Sigh...poor Wei Meng."
The topic gradually became strange. Wei Meng's face turned green with anger. She slammed the table angrily and said, "What nonsense are you talking about!"
This shot created an awkward atmosphere.
Fortunately, the waiter came over with drinks. She held the tray in her right hand and served tea to Wei Meng with her left hand.
Qu Lingyuan raised her arm to shake off her long hair without leaving any trace, and accidentally touched the arm of the waiter who was serving tea to Wei Meng.
She didn't hold the cup firmly and the whole cup of tea spilled onto Wei Meng's skirt.
"Ah!!!" Her scream almost pierced the eardrums of Bai Zisu beside her.
Bai Zisu's tiger body trembled, and he wanted to cover Wei Meng's mouth.
"Are you sick? Why are you lifting my hair?" Wei Meng felt that Qu Lingyuan was targeting her.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to," Qu Lingyuan looked at her apologetically and said to the waiter, "Excuse me, please give her another glass."
"I'm going to the bathroom." Wei Meng angrily took a few pieces of paper and walked towards the bathroom.
"Let me go with you." Qu Lingyuan stood up and followed.
There is a huge difference in the backs of the two people standing side by side. Wei Meng is 20 centimeters shorter than Qu Lingyuan. The loose baby doll skirt is cute but does not show her figure, which makes Qu Lingyuan's slit long skirt look even more stunning.
This time, Qu Lingyuan went to the bathroom not to help Wei Meng.
She took out the small rubber band on her wrist and tied her long hair into a bun. A few strands of hair hung down, looking sexy and casual, revealing her slender swan neck.
The more charming Qu Lingyuan became, the more jealous Wei Meng became.
"Are you targeting me?" She lost her charming and lovely demeanor outside, and her soft voice, and asked directly.
"How could that be?" A certain fox said one thing and meant another, smiled calmly, and simply washed his slender, green fingers.
Wei Meng leaned against the sink, her head held high and full of pride. "You'd better think carefully. Don't compete with me for Brother Zisu. My family...is not something a trainee dentist like you can afford to offend."
Qu Lingyuan laughed when she heard this. She bent her slender waist and lifted Wei Meng's chin with one hand. She narrowed her slender eyes, leaned closer and lowered her voice: "Little sister, don't be so arrogant."
While the other party didn't react, Qu Lingyuan walked out of the bathroom.
In fact, she is younger than Wei Meng, but it feels so good to pretend to be X~
Since Wei Meng is disrespectful to the elderly, don't blame her for taking advantage of her height to bully others.
"Bah!" Wei Meng rolled his eyes at her back.
All the dishes are on the table.
Qu Lingyuan's long hair was tied up, revealing skin that was so white that it reflected light, making it dazzling.
"Huh? Wei Meng, what's wrong with your chin..." The person sitting opposite Wei Meng seemed to be hesitant to speak.
Wei Meng took out the small mirror he carried with him and looked at himself, then glared at Qu Lingyuan angrily.
Qu Lingyuan sat in her seat trying to hold back her laughter.
She had just washed her hands when she pinched Wei Meng's chin. She used a lot of force and rubbed off a piece of Wei Meng's foundation.
Bai Zisu also looked at Wei Meng's face curiously: "Pfft..."
The color difference was so huge that Bai Zisu, who had no sense of humor, couldn't help but laugh out loud.
Everyone's attention was instantly focused on Wei Meng's face, but she couldn't be happy. She took the makeup touch-ups in her bag and ran to the bathroom.
Wei Meng returned to her seat and the topic turned to makeup again.
"Mengmeng's makeup skills are really good," a female colleague exclaimed as she looked at the delicate makeup on Wei Meng's face that was obviously touched up. "By the way, Yuanyuan, do you usually wear makeup? Every time I see your face, it's so clean. I'm so envious."
Qu Lingyuan deliberately annoyed Wei Meng: "I do use some light-colored eyeshadow occasionally, but the most I can do is put on some sunscreen for my base makeup. Most foundations on the market aren't even as white as my natural skin tone, so I won't bother with that."
"Then you are awesome." Wei Meng said sarcastically.
These words were full of hostility, but Qu Lingyuan just smiled magnanimously: "Thank you for the compliment."
