Ye Liuyin's name was frequently mentioned on the Yunting High School forum, even though she had only transferred schools a week ago.
Even Liang Nanxing, who doesn't usually pay much attention to these things, had heard of her.
Logically speaking, Liang Nanxing wasn't a very curious person, but after hearing the name Ye Liuyin so many times, he felt he should be a little curious too.
Liang Nanxing nudged Zeng Ye with his elbow and casually opened his phone. "Ye, have you heard about that transfer student lately?"
Zeng frowned slightly, interrupted from his train of thought, but still replied good-naturedly, "No."
Liang Nanxing nodded knowingly, "Alright."
He knew that asking his friend, given his personality, would be pointless; he probably wouldn't be interested in such things anyway.
Zeng was usually indifferent to people and things; at school, he was just a simple good student.
They get along well because they grew up together, and Liang Nanxing has even gotten used to Zeng Ye's personality.
With a swipe of his fingertip across the screen, Liang Nanxing opened the campus forum, where the homepage featured a picture of a young girl.
Upon closer inspection, oh, this is Ye Liuyin.
The girl has delicate features and a slender figure, embodying the pure and sweet image of every boy's ideal first love.
It even subtly exudes a desire to protect, bringing out the ultimate in feminine gentleness.
"She's quite pretty," Liang Nanxing thought, though his expression betrayed a hint of indifference.
He doesn't seem to be very interested in this type of thing.
I scrolled down and the screen was filled with photos of this transfer student named Ye Liuyin.
After looking at several photos, Liang Nanxing left the forum and started playing games.
Liang Nanxing glanced at Zeng Ye, who was doing his homework, shook his head, and sighed inwardly.
Liuyin doesn't have a good reputation at Yunting High School, which leaves 003 somewhat helpless.
“Host, you shouldn’t have done that. It doesn’t fit the female supporting character’s storyline.”
003 felt that he should stop it.
Liu Yin idly fiddled with her nails. "003, you can't blame me for this. He was the one who confessed to me first."
"If I weren't a little bored here, I wouldn't want to talk to him at all."
Liuyin had been to school, but it was completely different from what she learned here. The English in the books gave her a headache just looking at it.
Just when she was feeling irritable, a boy suddenly appeared and confessed his feelings to her.
The boy already has a girlfriend.
Even Liu Yin had a hard time figuring out this person's thought process. When he was single, she wouldn't agree to his confession, but now that he has a girlfriend, he still has the nerve to confess to her?
Liuyin felt that she was being looked down upon.
This incident caused quite a stir because Liuyin was immediately dubbed the school beauty upon arrival. Some people liked her, while others didn't.
Therefore, many people are dissatisfied with her handling of this matter.
Liuyin believed she hadn't done anything wrong; she had simply told the man that she never talked to people who had girlfriends.
He was the one who wanted to break up.
But it seems that most people blamed her for the mistakes, which made Liuyin feel wronged.
"Shouldn't we go and make contact with the male lead now?"
"Once we finish this part of the story, we can go abroad directly, and you won't have to worry about your studies."
003 knew that Liuyin was impatient with learning these things, so she wanted to urge her to move on to the storyline faster.
"Okay."
——
Under the lush green trees, Liuyin leaned against the trunk, idly fiddling with the pebbles on the ground.
"Coming, coming!" 003 shouted.
Upon hearing 003's voice, Liuyin immediately feigned weakness, her face turning deathly pale.
Approaching was a stern-faced young man who only occasionally glanced down at the book in his hand; otherwise, his gaze was fixed on the road ahead.
003 is getting impatient; why isn't he turning his head to look?
"Excuse me, can you help me?"
The girl's soft voice rang in his ears, and Zeng frowned slightly, thinking he had misheard.
"I'm here! Look this way!"
Seeing the boy looking around but not in her direction, Liu Yin became a little anxious.
How could someone as big as her not see her when she was right under the tree?
"Oh, sorry," the boy replied a beat late.
However, there was not a trace of embarrassment on his face.
"Do you need any help?" Zeng closed the book in his hand.
Liu Yin nodded and said in a sweet voice, "Of course I need it."
As Zeng Ye walked over, Liu Yin kept looking at his face.
While they were talking, she was surprised to find that the boy's expression didn't change much.
That's so rare!
Zeng Ye walked over to Liu Yin's side and looked at the slight redness on her ankle. "Does it hurt a lot?"
The boy crouched down, his warm fingertips gently tracing the red mark.
Liu Yin flinched slightly, feeling a little itchy, so she shook her head, "Just a little."
"Can you take me to the infirmary?"
"Um."
The boy didn't ask her how she got hurt; he simply carried Liuyin to the infirmary on his back.
Liu Yin put her arms around Zeng Ye's neck and suddenly asked, "Are you usually this helpful?"
The hot breath sprayed onto the back of his neck, turning a large patch of skin there red.
"Huh?" Zeng suddenly snapped back to reality. "What did you just say?"
He didn't really understand why he agreed to her request; he could have simply dialed the infirmary and waited for someone to pick him up.
