Chapter 184 Humanoid Weapons × Mountain Demon 22

Having spent the night with Liuyin at Yunchi, Tulu completely forgot that yesterday was the day the villagers at the foot of the mountain held their sacrifice.

Liu Yin hadn't thought of it either, but 003 reminded her that towering flames had appeared in front of Wushan.

Their rituals always attracted a lot of attention, and it's likely that the previous massacres were also drawn to this.

However, it's no longer visible now.

The massacre had no further connection with those villagers.

Liuyin and Tulu still live on the back side of Wushan Mountain, nestled against the mountain and beside the water, with flowers blooming everywhere in front of their treehouse.

A month passed quickly, and before Tulu could prepare, Liuyin was about to give birth.

However, 003 had foreseen all of this and used the tree spirit's roots to bring in a midwife from the town.

In her hazy state, the old woman would only think that she had just had a dream and would forget about it after waking up.

So much so that when the old woman woke up the next day and saw the gold leaf next to her pillow, she thought she was seeing things.

Liuyin gave birth to several tiny black babies who were crying for food. Even Tulu was taken aback when he saw them.

The five little black balls gently closed their eyes and made extremely faint whimpering sounds.

After carefully counting, Tu Lu realized that he had missed one thing: the youngest of his siblings was indeed smaller than his older brothers and sisters.

He gestured with his hands and realized that they were not even as big as his palm.

Tu Lu suddenly turned to look at Liu Yin, his eyes filled with indescribable complexity. He hadn't expected that his original form was actually a black dog.

The newborn babies are now sleeping soundly in the basket.

The man sat on the edge of the bed, looking at the fine sweat on Liu Yin's forehead, and reached out to gently wipe it away.

"It may take them a while before they can take human form again," Tu Lu said in a low voice, suddenly feeling a pang of guilt.

He was born in human form, and so was Liuyin, but they never expected their child to be like this.

"Isn't this good?" Liu Yin stood up slightly and gently poked one of the cubs.

No matter what kind of animal it is, it is cutest when it is first born and when it is small. Liuyin even hopes that they can grow up more slowly.

Seeing the smile on Liu Yin's face, Tu Lu breathed a sigh of relief. Fortunately, Liu Yin did not look down on them.

At first, the little black clowns stayed in a basket that 003 had woven from the branches of a willow tree spirit.

A thousand-year-old tree spirit is always a little different, so the little black tufts whose teeth had not yet grown began to grind their teeth in the basket, and those that could crawl also rummaged around inside.

The basket was a bit too small for them.

Every now and then, a small black blob would step on the back of another small black blob, which made 003 very distressed.

Tulu and Liuyin are parents who prefer free-range parenting. After all, the grassland here is very large, and they can spend the whole day here as they please.

The little black balls don't need to eat; they just need to lie obediently in the basket and wait for the slaughter to deliver spiritual energy.

This really gave 003 a lot of trouble.

Meanwhile, on the other side, the willow tree spirit was greeted by another uninvited guest. Bu Yi looked flustered and asked, "Why are you here again?"

"Hehe, I just wanted to borrow something," 003 said somewhat embarrassedly.

"What is that?" he asked warily.

003 flew to his branch, "Just borrowing a little branch."

"Is that just a little bit?"

Although he was old, he still had some pride, and the tree spirit could only look somewhat beautiful because of its emerald green branches.

If it's completely bare, then it's ugly.

"It really is just a little bit, and besides, I didn't do anything wrong," 003 said righteously.

"Didn't you want to know about Jin Lei? I know."

Do you really know?

"certainly."

003 only later encountered Jin Lei's name in the plot; he was a major villain who appeared later in the story.

The stalemate between the demon race and the human race was broken by the appearance of Jin Lei.

His appearance brought with him countless spirits from Wushan, who stormed into the royal city with unstoppable force, and from then on, the human race was defeated.

In the end, he simply returned to Wushan and fell back into a deep sleep.

The plot doesn't explain why Jin Lei appeared, but 003 is certain that he is currently in Wushan.

"Alright then, I'll give you my branch." The tree spirit was also eager to know Jin Lei's whereabouts.

003 quickly harvested the willow tree spirit's branches and hurriedly stuffed them into his spatial storage.

"Jin Lei is currently sleeping soundly in Wushan."

After saying that, 003 quickly left.

Although what it said seems very unreliable, 003 can attest that it comes from the plot, so it must be true!

Seeing 003 disappear, the tree spirit was first stunned. Could it be that it was lying to him?

But upon closer reflection, I realized it was really unnecessary.

However, if Lord Jin Lei has been sleeping in Wushan for a long time, then the events of a thousand years ago can be explained.

Perhaps it was precisely because it needed to fall into a deep sleep that Wushan was sealed off, preventing the spirits and monsters from the outside from entering.

However, the willow tree spirit felt that it had forgotten something. Lord Jin Lei had always been fine, so why was he in a deep sleep?
